Had an amazing time at Platia celebrating my mom's birthday. From the time we arrived we were warmly welcomed by Cleopatra who served us so well. The food was delicious, fresh and tasty. I would definitely come back especially for Cleopatra, she is such a beautiful soul. Thank you Platia, loved every moment!! ❤

Poor service. Unapologetic, and disrespectful owner.Arrived on time and our table reservation was given away to other guests, we then had to wait for a plan" to be made. Our family is vegetarian and ordered falafel (which is meant to be chickpea) - the waiter bought the food which did not look like falafel - we proceeded to ask twice after tasting it if it was in fact vegetarian and the waiter confirmed this. It was only until it was sent back to the kitchen that we were told it was in fact meat - that too - beef. Being hindu

It was my husbands birthday yesterday. We had not booked. The manager came to check up on us. Told her it was my husbands birthday. 2 minutes later she came back with rose petals for our table, made Ice cream for him. The friendly stuff made it extra special. We had a beautiful evening. We will definitely be back soon❤️

Good food, great staff, what a awesome experience, but what really blew my mind was the great special that they had on their Eisbein! But overall, i definitely recommend this place!

It was a lovely experience. We were fortunate to come when they had a special on eisbien.All in all the service was really good and the food not only looked good but tasted amazing.The restaurant itself has a nice open feel to it so if it gets busy I don’t feel like you would feel clustered with all the other guests.Definitely worth a try.

Horrible experience! Firstly, we had booked a table well in advance. Arrived on time, only to be told our table had been given away.Secondly, we are strict vegetarian and therefore carefully chose our food items. We ordered the falafel. The colour was off, and asked the waiter twice to make sure it was falafel and vegetarian. Both times we were told that the item was falafel and vegetarian. After tasting, we were convinced that it was not vegetarian. The manager of the restaurant then confirmed that they made and error and served us meat.The manager was extremely apologetic, but it was the terrible attitude of the owner that ruined our night. Not willing to budge or take responsibility and only offered us a 10% discount on our bill. They clearly don't care about peoples dietary requirements or religious beliefs.Don't ever go to this restaurant!!

Very disappointing experience. I went here on New Year’s Eve with some friends. The service was quite slow, while I understand this is a very busy evening the restaurant was nowhere near capacity.Big speakers playing loud music made it very difficult to even speak to someone next to you, not appropriate for the atmosphere of this restaurant and extremely annoying.The milkshake I had tasted watered down, the chicken pasta was very bland and not worth the price at all (R160). My friend ordered Humus with his meal which didn’t arrive and he had to cancel it.Overall I felt the money I spent here was wasted, there are much better places to go at better price ranges as well.

The food was to die for, absolutely superb! And our server, Cleopatra, was phenomenal! She was helpful, friendly and overall Amazing! Definitely will be going back soon!
