Hoedspruit Reptile Centre

A wonderful experience for the whole family!Providing wifi for a cheap fee,delicious food at the Lizard Rock restaurant,and for the brave - pictures can be taken with one of their beautiful pythons.The enclosures are well kept,clean and as close to the reptile's natural habitat as one could get while still making sure they're visible to guests. Information is given about each species at every enclosure,even showing the placement of fangs and toxicity.As wonderful as the park is,it's small,and some of the enclosures are just the same species of reptile. At the slowest pace and having a full meal at the restaurant,it might only keep a guest busy for about 2 hours.

Such a wonderful day out with our 2 young kids. 1.5hours long. We did the walk through on our own but a lovely guide offered for us to watch him separate the black mambas, feed a chameleon and we got to hold a harmless snake. Loads of fun- thank you for your kindness.Lovely enclosures for the animals.

Had an amazing experience, very informative and educational. Reptiles are well kept. We loved every moment of it, the best part was taking pictures with a snake. There's also a Deli that sells yummy sandwiches and chips(fries).

Great team running this reptile park. Such awesome snakes! And very informative and animal loving staff. The work that is done here to look after and care for the animals is really incredible. I look forward to supporting in the future.

Wonderful place to take groups of people to. After our self guided tour, they were kind enough to let us handle a snake and to give us a in-depth tour of the venomous snakes that they keep.Really nice, needs a little support through sponsors though but all in all a beautiful setup.

We visit regularly. Improvements have been done on enclosures and you can really see a difference. The reptiles are cared for well. Also a great venue for birthday parties. The kids loved the interactions and live handling which was so informative.Small restaurant and tuckshop on premises.

Very good place to visit and learn something. The owner helped me identify a scorpion we found on our property and was very engaging. Nice snakes on display, please support the centre if you can

I took the self guided tour and it was quite straight forward, I saw all types of different reptiles from around the world. The self guided tour is just the basic. You can do more here and the staff is always ready to answer your questions.

Great place to visit. It is a self guided tour, but there are loads of information boards around. The entrance fee is cheap and the animals are well looked after. Perfect place to visit with the family.
