Elrico is for peace of mind for your Disco with no extended service plan...a plan that is ridiculously expensive and offered only by Land Rover!Peace of mind too for professional and experienced workmanship.I recently serviced a Disco 4 with him, km 182 000. N1 Land Rover quoted the same service for R29 000. Elrico did it for R16 000.

I have serviced my vehicles with Elrico motors for the past few years, and generally servicing goes by without a hitch. They are not very good at communicating and are not good with providing estimates for repairs. On two occasions they have done unauthorized repair work on my vehicle.

I haven't had the best experience here. Technicians seemed uninterested in helping me.

Will NEVER use them again!! Incompetent and absolutely unprofessional.They forgot to replace the oil dipstick after a service, which caused oil to splash all over engine bay and soak out the ignition coils! Car went into 'limp mode' and cabin was filled with engine fumes. They 'promised' to send out 'someone' to assist - never happened. Had to threaten them with legal action before they collected the car the NEXT DAY! After they supposedly 'sorted out' the problem, they insisted I collect the car from them. Upon inspecting the car, I realised that the spilled oil was not even cleaned away!! They also forgot to rest the 'service indicator' light!!No apology given and owner (??Elrico) is apparently never around when needed!!!! Keep away from such impostors ... their costs were similar to an approved Landrover dealer and service was more like that of a 'back-door' mechanic!!

My vehicle went in for a routine service: I will never ever recommend this business to anybody. They are dishonest and not to be trusted at all.After paying R13,000 for a routine service and driving 10 km my car went into limp mode. I returned the vehicle, and after paying a further R9,500 for a cracked tappet cover and driving home less than 8 km. The car went up in flames.When I called to say my car was burning, I was asked to make sure if wasn’t steam. I know the difference it was flames.The owner didn’t phone or check in If I was OK as the car literally burned. He didn’t feature.The receptionist told me it was the loom that caused the fire. I don’t know why they tried to cover up the cause of the fire. But a couple of weeks later the insurance specialist confirmed that the cause of the fire was not electrical.To date neither called or owned up. Stay away!!Do not trust them.Take your vehicle to a reputable service centre with qualified technicians.

Communication is very bad... Does not ask permission to do extra work... My car went in for a annual serviceon 7 December 2021 and came back unroadworthy with no lights working and indicators not working. Owner was very unprofessional and arrogant.
