Disappointing!!!I left in a note about the service and the food I’m store.But I have to mention it here as well…First time I had such a horrible experience at this Ocean Basket.Mushy sticky and rubbery sushi As a starter which took almost 30-40 minutes to arrive.So definitely was not worth the wait.My sea bream fish tasted as if it was not washed, the skin was burned and also drowning in oil.The baby hake I ordered was drowning in oil and burned.However everything else was okay, the wait for the food ? I’m not even going to jump into that.We ordered a dish and asked strictly for rice only, the dish then came with rice and chips and the manager, who goes by the name of Reece. Tells his waiter to tell us that we must just leave it on our plate, which clearly shows he had no interest resolving the matter.Also have to say, to see a manager be treating a customer the way he did today in store, with no respect and so much ego thinking that it’s okay, this scene was just really uncalled for and also a reflection of how this manager takes his title to head.Thank you to Keagan, the other manager, very humble guy and actually addresses the situation.Thank you to our waiter , Daniel, you really have a positive vibe and great energy, was really great having you serve us.But honestly, this branch needs a lot of work and actual support from higher level,Because the quality of service at this branch has definitely dropped.

Ocean basket Plumstead simply the best .The manager Aleeyah provides excellent customer service and is always very helpful.She always make sure that the quality of food served is of a high standard .She always welcome her customers in warm and friendly manner .She really goes that xtra mile in keeping her customers satisfied with her excellent service.Thank you Aleeyah

OB all.over the place are the same except the services and atmosphere. The sushi took as long as the seafood platter for 1 yet it was ordered 30min prior. The rollsssssss.... from it being baked to not even in the oven yet....eisch...suppose we can't blame them....blame loadshedding.. wonder if everyone is going to take advantage of that .....loadshedding....and us the customer....will we be so understanding in the near future

Absolutely bad service! How can you have your customers wait over an hour for food and for the order to be incorrect. Waiter and Managers were horrible and came with excuses.Food and services was not worth my money at all!I will not be returning.Ocean basket you guys need a touch up on your customer service.

Food was good, baby squids were slight bit salty but otherwise great, just thought tar tar sauce would have been a standard item coming with the seafood, love the Hake, will visit again

It was my 16th Wedding anniversary and prior to going I called the branch and spoke to such a polite gentleman by the name of Keagon. He assured me that he would keep a table ready for when we arrive. Our service we received was exceptional, the food was fantastic and it all ended off with Keagon arranging a special dessert treat for us. I was wowed by the service excellence. Clearly they take pride in their customers and ensuring that they produce service that is exceptional. Great job Keagon and team. Keep up the good work.

One star is too much.Our waitress hardly waited on us. We saw more of her colleagues and that was to find out where our order was. When we eventually got our food, the order was wrong and we waited an hour and a half for it. When we asked about it we were told that their sushi is made fresh, hence the extra long wait. Isn't that how all sushi is made????

They ruined our Fathers Day but taking two hours to prepare our UberEats. Eventually we had to cancel and order elsewhere cos Dad was starving.
