Very bad follow up service. I contacted them to view a house on a wednesday (19 January 2022), I received a response that the viewing for the house is only the next week Monday (24 January 2022). The sunday evening I request a time for the viewing on Monday, only to get a message that the property I was interested in is already taken. I am sure if I did not contact the agent, I would not have ever received any follow up. Just disappointed in the service I received from Anna Basson, Stellenbosch properties.

I had a wonderful experience with Liezl Schoeman as my agent. She was very helpful & kind when I needed assistance. Would definitely recommend her.

Terrible terrible experience with this agency. All the way from arranging a viewing, to signing the rental contract, to moving in, there were problems at every single step. The apartment was left in horrible condition and the agent (Liezl) had promised the inspection had been done. The apartment had a bug infestation in the kitchen at the time of moving in, as well as numerous broken/malfunctioning things in the flat. The entire process was handled incredibly poorly and not once during the process did I feel content or happy with their service. Do NOT use this company.

Did not have a good experience as a student dealing with this agency. I did not feel respected and did not feel that I was dealt with professionally. My agent (Liezl) was very difficult with giving the rental deposit back and did not respond to my emails.Would not recommend this agency for anyone wanting to rent in Stellenbosch.

This company does not do their work! Tenants sign a rental contract and disappear last year December. Now in Feb I’m still waiting for a response as to the action taken from Anna Bassons side against the tenant. Doubt they even did anything regarding that.Spoke to Deon Carstens (principal) and Marisa (agent) and walked them through the unit in December last year noting things that needed to be done. Early Feb nothing has been done. I plead with the principal for action and am promised a solution. I arrive at the unit a week later and it’s still not student ready. We’re now midway through Feb!I’m given attitude from Marisa again when I ask her why the curtains are missing? I’m told that they belonged to the previous tenant. That’s not what the stock sheet says!I’ve given this company every fair chance to correct and take responsibility for their lack of service to no avail.I would NOT make use of this company if I was a prospective landlord trying to rent out their property in Stellenbosch!They do not accept accountability for their poor service and definitely do not do their work!

I have been working with Anna Basson Properties for almost 4 years. Being in the property industry is tremendously tough - I have been there myself and have first hand experience of getting it from all different angles. I have the utmost respect for every person who works for Anna Basson Properties especially for Mari, the owner, who has to jump in during various occasions to ensure happiness is guaranteed over small incidents both tenants and owners don't see the bigger picture. I would recommend them any time because I know it's not an easy job and I think being around over 40 years a town like Stellenbosch speaks for itself. Keep up the good work team!

If you are looking for a reliable agent, who you can trust to have your best interests at hand, you are at the wrong place. This family owned business operates very unprofessionally. Will definitely not recommend!

Their super professional behaviour and reliability was a breath of fresh air!They understood exactly what style of property we were looking for. This experience with Anna Basson Properties was easy, professional and just great!Truly the best agency I have worked with!
