San Lameer Villa Rentals

Lovely place but I have some suggestions to make.The Villa is not wheelchair friendly. The cleaner picked up the dirty towels and re hanged them for usage in these Covud times. The restaurant told us they provide Prawn and Chicken curry only to find out its shrimp and chicken. 4 tiny shrimps. We complained to the manager, only to find out that's what they serve.

Absolutely beautiful place,a must stay for not only the stunning golf course and beach restaurant, and swimming pools,tennis courts,squash court and much more....around a quaint lake....

Beautifully place ,100%Cleanliness and organized ,I was there from the 4th to 6th of November ,room no: 2519 and I will come back again ♥ with my partner .

We loved our 10 day stay here. It was quite far away from the beach and not mentioned but that didn't get us down. I would recommend renting a golf car for quick nav if it is too far to walk. It was a lovely 4 bedroom house, all rooms en suite. Infinity pool, jacuzzi and sauna! It was clean and well kept.All the estate facilities are in superb condition. Beautiful golf course. Nice beach with lifeguards. Small shop inside the estate. Hotel and spa. Tennis and squash courts. To name a few.

If it were not for the musty smell in the one bedroom, I would have given it 5 stars. More attention to cleaning and clearing bad odours from mould etc..before guests arrive. Place smelled of Jik and floors were still damp. Obviously masking the musty smell which was noticeable later.

San Lameer is well located and family friendly in most respects. It has a nice beech with a good life guarding team, which is necessary on this coast. It lovely to have the wild life around but the large number of villas and the fire has somewhat limited the space for the animals and birds. The petrol golf carts are a good idea for getting around, but electric ones would be better (less noise, greener and cleaner). Book them in advance to ensure availability at peak times. The standard of the villas is generally very good, but not 5 star. Some of the mattresses in our unit were of moderate quality and the crockery and cutlery somewhat cheap and sparse for 7 people. Mosquito screens on the window would be a good idea particularly as one of the air conditioning units did not function.My daughter required hospital treatment for a head injury when she was hit by a golf ball driven from the 9th tee when dinning at the club house restaurant. This was a known problem to the staff; a woman had her nose smashed the day before while dinning. But injuring guess regularly is apparently not a concern to the management!

Villa was comfy!! just needed a load shedding pack !Restaurant ridiculously overpriced especially the fish and chips which should not have been taken away from their mother " however we do love the mashie coure !!!"

We spent a week in San Lameer in December 2022. There was no water for over 48 hours and there was no help at all from Villa Rentals. We arrived in the dark and didn't have lights for over 12 hours. There were no emergency lights in the villa and despite us asking for help none was forthcoming. Finally they promised a one night refund for our discomfort and have now reneged on that also. My advice don't use Villa Rentals.

Based in an absolutely beautiful golf estate. The villas are lovely and cosy. Its nicely situated, each villa has boasts its privacy. Every villa is decorated as per the owners taste...each villa is unique. Has direct access to the beach. The restaurant and bar on the premises is amazing. Golf carts available to rent for your stay or even for a few hours. The staff are extremely friendly.
