A hidden gem and beautiful waterfall in Simonstown. Short walk and worth a visit.

Such a great quick walk/hike to the waterfall. Middle of the trail is a bit steep but nothing major. Don't think any significant fitness is required. Absolutely stunning views!

Quick, short, easy walk that is beautifully scenic especially during the rainy season where the water is gushing down.

Wow if you visit try just after good rains...stunning and easy walk in, few steps just before the falls, 15min to falls and 15min out very easy. But worth it!!!!

Pretty but a very easy walk, wish it were a bit more challenging. Leave food and backpacks in your car as you don't want a confrontation with the baboons although there were monitors when we got there. Keep dogs on leash as well.

If you ever have some time to kill out here in the deep south of Cape Town, a walk up to Admiral’s Waterfall is the perfect way to relax. There’s very limited parking, but the walk is straightforward and a bit of a local secret as very few people from outside the area walk up here. The views over the suburb are amazing and the sound of the water when it’s flowing strong is wonderful.Bear in mind that the closer to the water you go, the more slippery the rocks become, so be cautious.Otherwise, it’s an easy safe walk and if you do meet people, they are generally friendly and helpful (especially the locals).Caution: You don’t need your backpacks with food, there are baboons in the area. Put bags in the boot of your car.

Amazing waterfall. Short walk but a bit tricky in some places. Would not bring kids under 5 unless you holding their hand. Sheer cliffs with amazing views. Bring a picnic and have a dip under the waterfall. There is a cave but no clear route.

Easy walk to the waterfall. It only flows after heavy local rains. So don’t expect water all the time.

An easy hike up to the waterfalls, making it enjoyable for even the little hikers! Quite a steep elevation to climb once at the foot of the Waterfall but so worth it. Kick off your hiking shoes and frolic in the water!

A hidden gem so close to the city. Waterfall was almost dry, but the scenery is still amazing!
