Oh the disappointment! I was super excited to try the smashed chickpea mayo 'open sandwich ' but instead I had loaded mayo on toast with about 8 whole chickpeas ... So much for smashed.

I went there with my friend for a celebratory coffee and piece of complimentary cake due to the Mugg and Bean app gifting a free slice of cake on your birthday. The app malfunctioned when we tried to scan it and the owner noticed that we were having some trouble. He took it upon himself and still gave me the complimentary slice of cake even though my app was not working. The waiters are super friendly and very helpful. If I could give 10 stars I would. Highly reccomend this Mugg and Bean.

Food and service awesome.Maybe two tables less as there are way too many people sitting to close...When there is load shedding, speespoints do not work and you will have to pay with cash. (Sometimes your card might go through later also.)

I got a takeaway, and the server that helped me was very friendly, helpful, and busy. But the food and coffee took a bit of time. While I was there, Uber/Mr. D order was just waiting to be collected. This is ridiculous because M&B was making delivery orders first before making our takeaways (we were about 3 people sitting and waiting for our orders.

Why is it at this restaurant that when I am finished eating I must wait for 20 minutes for my bill. I was absolutely ignored this morning once I had finished eating. Staff standing in the doorway and chatting,/fooling around. I told the waitress that if this happens again I will walk out without paying. This was the 2nd time that this has happened. There just seems to be no pride in their work.
