D was very warm, helpful and welcoming. We were getting lost and she stood outside her gate until we got to her place. When we got in she helped and hooked us up onto her WiFi both my husband and I and the kids. We could phone if we got stuck with anything during our stay there. Thanks so much D..

Horrible experience. I'm stuck in the parking lot for over half an hour now as they gave us the wrong key. No one is picking up the call at either reception or at the owner. The wifi didn't work, the staff kept giving excuses. One towel for family room if three. Two glasses, two plates. The electricity meter right outside buzzes like a storm. Avoid this property like the plague!

Have been on a road trip across South Africa for over 1 month.(and I have travelled through more than 30 countries.) This is by far the worst experience. The staff quoted me 1 price and I repeated it 2 times over the phone. I arrived 45 minutes later and she raised the price. It was getting late so I let it go. We paid for 3 people to stay in a cottage. There were only 1 towel, 2 coffee mugs and 2 glasses. The WiFi was not working although I checked with the reception before booking that free WiFi is available. We had 2 business Skype calls scheduled, so having WiFi is essential. I called the reception for towels and WiFi. It took me 4 phone calls to receive 1 additional towel after 2 hours even though I asked for 2. The WiFi was never available the entire time. It was noisy at night because of the electricity cabinet next to our cottage. The uneven ground of the parking gate scraped our car. No one was answering calls at the reception desk in the morning during their opening hours. The pricing for Declan's is not on the cheap end. This is totally not worth it. Terrible place.
