Was looking forward to this visit, but it did not live up to expectation. It is a lovely, casual venue , with a very wide drinks selection and a beautiful view over the Modderfontein golf course. The golfers that use the venue however, are extremely loud and rowdy and spoil the ambience of the venue. Service is extremely slow in general and it took 1 hour and 15 minutes to get our lunch which was a burger and a plate of chips - we nearly cancelled it and left. The peanut butter burger itself wasn't so great - the burger came in a dry, tasteless pita instead of a bun and the concept doesn't really work, plus the peanut butter was one skimpy blob smeared on the pita. Otherwise the food was quite good. Won't visit again, as the crowd and slow service spoiled it for me.

Spontaneously ended up here with some friends. The food was incredible as was the drinks selection. The prices were really good too! Being vegetarian, I was hesitant about what food was available but the staff were really accommodating. Their pizzas are by far one of the best pizzas we have had. Looking forward to coming back here in the future :)

A very friendly and accomodating maitre'd at the door. We pitched up with no reservation and all the tabels were reserved because af the band that was playing later. She got us a table and later moved us outside because the sound check was a bit loud for my six year old. Lots of craft beer to choose from. Imported craft beer aswell. Would really add this place for a date night out with the wife.

The owner was so warm in answering our call and confirming our reservation. The food is spectacular (still craving their amazing T-Bone) and the family loved the other items offered on their menu. Most important, the waitress was friendly with a smile on her face, and the beers... Extra cold!Definitely a local Gem!

A relaxed but hip craft beer eatery with a view of the golf course. Easy access without weekday traffic. Perfect for drinks with friends, sundowners or a celebration. We tried a platter of ribs and chicken which was super tasty. The bbq sauce is worth trying. Also enjoyed the Jack Black Cherry Ale but always enjoy a Good Hope Pale Ale which they have in hotlines amongst a good international selection of brews. There’s also a G&T on tap well priced for the young ones.

The Green craft bar is amazing, the staff are super friendly and accommodating and the food is indescribable. The atmosphere the staff and decor give off is truest welcoming. There is a range of craft beer and other craft alcoholic beverages and you won’t be spoilt for choice.I have been both for lunch and an evening meal and each offer it’s own unique experience. The views are explicit giving an eagle eye view of the fairways and the final hole of the Modderfontein golf course.You won’t be sorry and on my next trip to SA it will definitely be on my list of things to do.

Apparently this place is now called Gray Bar Craft and Kitchen. Stunning views, good atmospheric environment. The only thing I enjoyed is my cocktail, each meal I wanted to order I was told we don't have it....If you decided to go to this place check their loadsheding schedule otherwise its going to be a disaster

Food was excellent-good portions, but comes with a hefty price tag. Letdowns was the service-waitress seem to vanish along with all the other staff, could have made more money off customers if staff were more attentive. Venue was nice overlooking the Golf course, however, while I understand that it’s a craft store, at least have some juices available. Pizza was tasty but once again let down buy crust over cooked underneath. The plating, while funky, wasn’t practical as it dripped, oozed and messed all over the table. Have to do something significant to convince me to drive all the way back.

Dont order chips!!! Nachos are a winner... Calamari and jalapeno poppers are just ok. Drinks galore...highlight is the good music and the dj vibing all night.

Drinks took too long to come but was like cool, it's busy. Food took too long too and when it did come I was serves salad instead of sweet potato crisp like i asked, Why was I not made aware of this before hand? It was first and last time thanks
