Lovely place! This little gem is modern, clean, private and ideally located. The braai area is fantastic. It is a short walk to Bokkomlaan and the Bergrivier. Marlene is a wonderful host. The Greenery is one of two cottages on her property.

We went to Kingfisher 1 in Velddrif for 19 days in December 2021, and I must say it was the best holiday we had in a long time. Marlene and Ben were so friendly and good hosts, they went out of there way to accommodate us. The accommodation was VERY NICE modern and comfortable with a nice view from the balcony while lying on deck chairs while the sun set. I will recommend this Unit comfortably for 4 adults. Thanks again for making our holiday successful.

Thank you for a wonderful weekend spent in this lovely most beautifully decorated home away from home. It was so well equipped, luxurious, clean and private. This is now one of my favorite places to stay.

Exceptional, fantastic 2 days business stay. All started with a golden smile at arrival with little Chocolates. All good, from booking, check-in and staying. We have experienced a professional service, well-equipped space in black, white and gold, welcoming and just beautiful. Love the simplicity but stylist deco. Couldn't stop feeling the textures of the Egyptian linen.Marlene, had no delays to responding to my inquiries. @ check-out, we took with us the golden smile in memories.Highly recommend 47 Waterkant, kingfisher.Thanks again Marlene, we will definatly come again. This time with my little family

Having a getaway from everyday lifestyle, work and kids all alone is just what we needed. The only thing you take is food, clothing and toiletries. We were basically on Bokkom Laan. Went fishing, stayed indoors when the rain came down. Making a fire and just enjoying everything that is there already. The walk in shower the most amazing experience, with water jets tackling every part of ur body. The bedding so cosy and luckily with last night so cold, we could warm up our bed with the electrical blanket and lay and watch tv. We would recommend this cosy place in Veldrif to anyone for the best rest time ever!! The dorpie is so near, and the sound of the birds when u wake up, indescribable. Do yourself a favour and book in here. Take my word you will be going back, like we are. The owner Marlene the most amazing person I have ever met. Thanks Marlene, we loved it and miss it already. We gonna see you soon again

Serendipity - when one accidently finds something good... And what a gem we found at 47 on Waterkant! Needing a break from work life, we decided to explore the West Coast. Looking for accomodation for 1 night, we stumbled across 47 on Waterkant, the quaintest cottage just off the historic Bokkom Laan. One night became 2, allowing us to explore... and chill, enjoying the luxury of a full DSTV bouquet, sleeping in a heated bed, adoring the exquisite cups, pots and cutlery, desiring all the little bowls and things effortlessly scattered throughout the cottage... Our leisurely laziness lingered on long after leaving this lovely home-away-from-home. Highly recommended!!!

This is an absolute gem. Everything you need for an overnight stay. It is well located and very charming. We had a wonderful stay at The Greenery - highly recommended for a couple or single person staying in veldrif.

My stay for 15 days at 1 Kingfisher Velddrift was one of the best holidays ever the apartment is lovely everything I needed was there clean and the owners so helpful nothing was an effort or to much when my son got sick they even attended th rooms of the doctor to check that he was ok I will most definitely go back what a lovely place I will encourage anybody to go to that awesome apartment well done Marlene and I am difficult to please 5 stars for you
