A great shop/outlet for the catering and hospitality industry. They stock almost everything you will need for food prep, and food stuffs. Most of the items are bulk buys so not for you average consumer. Also bear in mind there are no prices on the shelf, but there is a 90 odd page list of all the stock with the prices that they will email to you. The staff are super friendly and helpful.

Two things annoy me intensely about Packtown:1. There are no prices on the products... at all. If you want to know a price you have to go to the cashier.... stand in a queue (usually quite short, but still) and then wait for a considerable time while she looks for the price.Why no prices? The answer is obvious: too much like hard work. Tedious, time-consuming work which will require added staff. Tough! Other outlets have the same problem and deal with it.2. The prices, when asked for, are always exclusive i.e. they do not include sales tax. Also, the invoice they give you never shows the inclusive price. Why not? Again, the answer is obvious... Packtown goes to some lengths to withhold the real (inclusive) price from customers.Are they in contravention of consumer law? Look it up!
