Such an amazing vet!I took my 1yr old puppy to vet west after a horrible experience at Mill point vet (BTW if u have a anxious dog DONT go to mill point they will just rush u in and out without care) but the vets at vet west took their time to make my pup feel comfortable and confident with lord of treats and went at the pace my pup felt comfortable at, totally on budget too!! Could not recommend more!

Amazing, caring vets. We have a fussy cat, Aslan, who just turned 8 yrs old. We’ve been with vet west for a while and have great experience with them. Joe is an amazing vet, who spent the time to calm our Aslan to check his heart and lungs.Aslan has to do a blood test for an overall check up. He’s been a cranky boy. The vets at vet west organised multiple different sessions so Aslan doesn’t get too stressed. They’ve been very patient with our fussy, cranky Aslan.Thank you

The friendly team has been efficient at their service of care for my cat, Kingsley when he was being a treated for a life-threatening condition. Their daycare prices are reasonably affordable with the best standards, in terms of thoroughness and follow-ups. Thank you once again team for helping my sweet boy.

You should avoid this veterinarian. I took my Sphynx cat to this Vet yesterday. The vet. told me he was fine, less than two hours later he was dead! and he suffered, absolutely suffered! as a result.It was obvious that the cat had HCM (A fatal heart condition common to Sphynx cats). Clearly this Vet knew nothing about Sphynx cats as he dismissed my concerns.The Vet said he was fine, lungs were good, heart was good and injected him with something supposedly for nausea. Then happily took my money! That's what he really wanted! He had me come in at 6:45pm stating he would be able to squeeze me in"

After having both our dogs on the wellness plan for some time I was very disappointed at the experience with Vetwest.The vet was very uncomfortable with our large dog and after he barked and playbowed in front of her, advised us she would be putting a note on saying he needed to be muzzled next time he came in. He previously got rave reviews from staff on visits and when in for surgery.He had been attacked by another dog and bitten on the back of the neck. She didn't even examine him. Just scripted some antibiotics and sent us away.Completely understand if you don't feel safe and feel he needs to be muzzled - so bloody muzzle him and examine him. We don't pay hundreds of dollars every year for an examination from across the room. He was bleeding!We've transferred our other dogs wellness plan to another vet and Quinn's is up next month, at which point he's out too.

There is nothing negative I could say about Vetwest South Perth. My partner and I were very nervous going in to a vet for the first time, especially due to leaving it so late after we had adopted our two cats. My family had said that Vetwest were the best, and now, I could never ever recommend somewhere else to others with pets. Vetwest South Perth truly is the best.From the second I booked the appointment after having a very sick cat, the reception team were super friendly and thorough on the phone. They gave me an estimate of costs beforehand, and explained the process of no-contact appointments due to Covid-19. They fit us in with our Diva cat for a 6.30pm appointment due to us working full time, so you can be sure that they will try their best to find something that works for you, regardless of how late or early you can attend.Dr Aya (vet) and Cassie (vet nurse) gave beyond and above anything I could have expected for Diva. Diva, an extremely petrified and panicked kitten, had never been to a vet before, and she really took it out on them both. They never complained and explained every step of the way, giving me an estimate of costs prior, when they realised how difficult and panicked Diva was, especially when she started lashing out. They went above and beyond. Diva was even harder and more panicked than I thought she would be, and when we realised this was going to be a night affair, they put in everything they had to beyond 8.00pm to make sure that Diva and we were going to be okay. They stayed later than they had to just to give us peace of mind.I have never been so nervous before - and neither had Diva - and Cassie and Dr Aya went further and beyond anything I have ever expected from a vet, doctor, hospital or any other staff member I have known. I work in the medical industry myself, and the compassion and kindness they showed to Diva, and my partner and I, when we were all so nervous; is truly remarkable.After what we went through, they explained every step afterwards, made sure we were comfortable, gave us extra medication and tips for Diva, and did everything they could to comfort us and Diva. They also were happy to instantly put through our claim through our pet insurance, and it didn't stop there. The next day, the lovely reception team followed up with me to call and check how Diva was doing. I have never felt more thankful to a team of people that truly cares about their clients and their animals. After completely panicking about Diva being sick all week, she has now recovered and is now back to her typical self. I don't think that would have been possible without them, and I truly cannot explain how in debt I feel to Vetwest South Perth and their team.Thank you, thank you, thank you. If you are worried about your pet, or need regular care, I truly would not recommend anywhere apart from Vetwest South Perth.

The team were amazing and the vet showed such empathy and kindness when we put our beautiful Woody too sleep last week.We weren’t rush and they followed up with a call the next day too see how the family were coping and a card in the post.A very sad time, made that little bit easier by a wonderful show of love.Thank you so much and we can’t recommend you enough.

Absolutely terrible service. Have paid huge fees to cover my puppy for all services in advance, phoned with several hours notice to ask if we could be 5 minutes late and was told no and would need to rebook for an appointment that was not able to be delayed. Absolutely would not recommend.
