Excellent coffee and cake, in a modern, relaxed setting. Friendly staff. Definitely the best coffee I have had on the South Coast. Nice shop downstairs with an interesting refillery.

I love this place! The people who run it are so open and friendly and there is so much to be learnt about all things clay!I love the creative freedom I have with clay and making things with my hands. It’s really fun to experiment with colors and designs and at the end of it you get to take something home or make a gift for a loved one. It’s really great and such a welcoming space.

Claudia was incredible. I did the all rounder course and learnt soo much more about film. Great place to develop film also. Looking forward to my next workshop. Highly recommend.

Ok. So. This class has been legitimately life changing for me.I walked into a studio of amazingly talented sculptors and my first thought was “Wow, they are totally out of my league”. What I didn’t realise was the impact that a good teacher can make on your ability to produce and progress. I went from ashtrays to angels in the the space of a few short months.If you’re more keen on sculpting than pottery, if you’d like to make statues rather than plates; If you enjoy a glass of wine after work with a room full of wonderful people, or a morning coffee with your clay; I couldn’t recommend this class or this teacher more highly. I’m now coming to three classes a week and loving every minute of it.

We were the first customers! But it's amazing. Only area we have found that supports children and lets them have fun while we have a coffee. There are painting games and crafting items to keep the whole family busy. Definitely come in if you want your child to have a lekker lunch time!

Attended a fantastic Pottery Create class with my family today. Nadine is such an awesome host, super friendly and so accommading. Lovely studio in a great area. We will definitely be back to experience your other classes! Highly recommended for families, kids and social interactions/b'days :)

Jade has created a warm, nurturing space that also allows for lots of creative freedom and independence. I highly recommend Clay Atelier for anyone wanting to get into ceramics.
