Panorama Guest House

Warm welcome, felt at home, nice view, friendly owners, marvellous breakfast, room neat room, enough space, i loved the surroundings

Clean, cheap AND NO POWER ISSUES (they have their own power systems so power cuts don't affect them), good food. Hosts (Rob + Marianne) were very welcoming polite and great fun. I will definitely stay overnight again to brake the long drive.

The most amazing place to stay. I didn't want to leave. Everything thing needed for a Bed and Breakfast and more! I will definitely be staying there again

Took me a long time to write this review, and I eventually thought that I would not but realised that my experience could help others looking for accommodation in PA. The accommodation itself is lovely with an amazing view. Marianne was very friendly and accommodated us at short notice in January, as a family of 6 for an overnight stay and that we really appreciated. However, more about our stay now, upon arrival we felt like Rob was not very welcoming. He treated us (people of colour) like we were intruding his space.. he made us feel like we were not welcome to stay or move around freely and like we were being watched on the cameras on the property. They had a French couple in the room next door to ours and when we came back from supper in town he told us not to make a noise like we were a bunch of children.. we felt very uncomfortable and could not wait to leave the next morning. We found him to be very rude and when enquiring about their breakfast we were also told that it would be better for us to leave earlier as we have a long journey ahead. Lastly, their accommodation is “pet friendly” but I would not recommend you take your dogs, we had two yorkies and before we left Rob gave us a mouthful about our dogs. Port Alfred is beautiful, I will definitely be visiting again in the future for a few more days to explore.. however I will not visit Panorama guest house again. We did not enjoy our stay here.

Rob and Marianne were very welcoming. Good value, very much as depicted in their website -a clean, well decorated room and bathroom with a view from the terrace of the Marina and the sea. Delicious breakfast - I loved the cheese muffins! Hope to return soon. Would definitely recommend this guest house to others.

Marianne and Rob are wonderful people with lots of interesting stories and tips for your stay in beautiful Port Alfred. They are also amazing hosts, making your stay in their beautiful house and great breakfast a memory that will stay with you!

Thanks to uncle Rob and aunty Marianne for the great stay, service is absolutely fantastic, they will go above and beyond to make sure you are well looked after, if you need info on Port Alfred they will surely give you a lot of information on the town and where to go, may both of you be blessed for the wonderful people you are, and FYI, do eat uncle Rob's fruit and yogurt absolutely to die for!!!!!!
