Thanks Trevor for excellent work. We ordered a golf cart trailer on Monday and asked if it could be finishedby Friday. 4 days and the trailer was done and he even met us halfway to deliver it. Kept us up to date with pictures. Trailer is of great quality and the finishing is very neat. Will really recommend Qtec trailers.

DEFINITELY A SCAM!Trevor, these are the facts of the matter below, I have not seen any facts in your response? Please advise which of these points are not true?1) I paid you a deposit of R9 900 on 29 March.2) You said the trailer would be ready and delivered and delivered just after Easter, that would be the week of 11 April.3) I had to do the follow up, you have never provided an update with me querying progress.4) On 11 April you said the trailer was going into spray painting. First delivery date missed.5) On 14 April you said it was going into final assembly and would be delivered the next week.6) With no further feedback, and another delivery promise not met, I said on the 24th April that you should refund my money.7) It is now the 25th May and I have not received my trailer and I haven't had a refund.8) I never cancelled the order, I asked for my money back, that is a different thing. If you had committed to a reasonable date and delivered, I would have accepted that.9) Your business model seems to be based on accepting a deposit, then not delivering, and when the customer gets justifiably upset you deem the order cancelled and think that you can keep the deposit.10) You need to look into something called the Consumer Protection Act.If a service cannot be performed on an alternative date for whichever reason, the consumer is allowed to request a full refund of their deposits and prepayments. A consumer is permitted a full refund as the CPA provides for fair, reasonable and just treatment.In terms of the specific section of the Consumer Protection Act, a deposit or pre-payment continues to belong to the consumer and the supplier must continue to treat it as the consumer's money.What if the contract states that the deposit is non-refundable?The Consumer Protection Act overrules that she says.It overrules any contractual provision which is inconsistent with the wording of the act. The standard response to this review is going to be that he has been manufacturing trailers since 2005, but I'm guessing the guy who ordered in 2005 is also still waiting! I'm sure the positive reviews here are from friends or family, this guy is dodgy. I haven't had one phone conversation with him, even in the middle of a whatsapp conversation. Deposit was paid and delivery promised for 2nd week of April. When that wasn't met, I was told it was in spray painting, then final assembly, and then next delivery date was missed as well. Then he was back to spraying the stone chip, ignoring whatsapp and phone calls. Deposit paid on 29 March, it is now 17 May and no delivery date.My lawyers are sending a demand, as other reviewers have suggested I will also try and get Google to take him off.How does he sleep at night?

I am very pleased with the trailer we bought from Trevor. I could see that they give attention to detail and appearance as well. I feel that the products are a good value too. I can recommend QTEC Trailers without hesitation.
