Eric, Shadley and Celeste Fransman was quickly there to assist me with the KIC fridge. They handled everything professionally. They assisted me TWICE when i returned the KIC fridge as it is too noisy for me. They couldn't find a similar priced fridge and swiftly without any problem assisted me to receive a refund. Well done you 3. You make your shop proud. I cant complain at all about House & Home and surely will keep supporting them in the future

Thursday, October 1st I received a call from a sales person at house and home tygervalley. So what happened was that I took out a layby in July for a washing machine. This person Assie" calls me to inform me that the machine is now being discontinued and that I must come settle my outstanding balance asap otherwise I loose the machine. I then inform her that I don't have that kind of money just laying around and that I don't even have a credit card to do so. But she is very adamant that I will loose the machine if I don't come settle my layby. I then ask to speak to a manager or someone else that I can just state my case. She then goes on bubbling and I tell her that I will rather come into the store the next day. The Friday I was at work and I thought let me phone the store and ask to speak to the manager. A gentleman by the name of Shadley answers

My fridge broke on Sunday the 8th of December and I set to apply for one as a matter of urgency. Though I applied on the same Sunday, my application was only forwarded to head office on Tuesday.On Wednesday morning it was approved and I signed the paperwork, but they said for logistical reasons, delivery will be for Thursday.Then on on the Thursday, they say it will be for Friday. I called about 3 times and they assured that it will be in the afternoon. And around 7 p.m. they are saying that delivery fees were not included in the agreement.With the urgency gone and the money at hand, I went to Game Canal Walk and bought cash. Going back this Saturday to cancel the agreement for failure to deliver

Shockingly bad after-sale service.Purchased an electical device, broke within 3 days. Took it back and got a refund. They never gave me the propper documentation of the new product so when that one blew up 3 months after I bought it they were unable to give me a refund because I didn't have the correct slip and they couldn't find it on the system as it was never booked out properly.Took them 4 days and 4 trips to the store for them to realise that they do infact keep all purchase documents in their archive.Bad.

This shop does not provide you with an account statement per month when you buy on account.For 6 months no account.They have lovely furniture but i am rethinking of buying by them again..I was so impress with the guy that delivered the bed in the rain.Their delivery is fast.

Worst service. We went today to buy an upright freezer willing to spend up to R15 000. From the moment we walked in not one staff member greeted us. Looking at the freezer also nobody assisted. On our way out some staff we looking at us not one asking if we have been helped or if they could assist with anything. Clearly these people must be earning good basic salaries as nobody looked hungry to do a sale and earn commission. We will rather pay R5 000 more for the same freezer somewhere else, but these guys will never see us again.I am giving a one star rating as there is no negative star ratings on here otherwise it would have been a -10 star.

I recently bought four items from House and home at Hypervalley, They delivered late last Wednesday evening, The washing Machine was delivered with the packaging already removed, I pointed out to the delivery guy that the machine had already been used, and I pointed out the powdery substance on the rubber, He said that that was from factory testing the machine. I decided to leave it at his word, I was also informed that the bolts already had been removed, He Installed the machine, connected water Power etc,On Monday Morning the 2nd of September we tried to use the machine, only to find that the bolts was still in, we shut the machine down and removed them, we could see from the marks on the bolt that they had already been worked on. THe machine was alays making a hery loud noise when washing and when it went to spin, it almost walked out of the Garage.The sales man came back to us a little later to say that he was going to speak to his Manager about replacing the machine, and that he would be in touch shortly, we never got a return call.i Would like a return call from the Manager By wednesday the 3rd, we all know what the consumer act states.The sales person was Eric, Please call back, I expected better from House and Home, Have bought a lot of stuff from them in the past
