Kingswood Golf Estate

Arrived today with my son having booked a tee time only to be turned away because my sons tailored shorts didn’t have a zip or belt. Personally feel the guy really got off on turning people away-complete ***hole.For a club that struggles to get people to play this attitude is archaic.

Best greens around. Above Fancourt and Pinnacle(sanded,guess preparingfor summer) nice layout 4.5* for me

Where to start? After an extremely challenging start to our South African (Garden Route) adventure in Cape Town, my wife and I found ourselves in George and decided to have a game of golf at the wonderful Kingswood Golf Estate. Our first interaction was with Clarice, who was absolutely AMAZING, going way beyond being welcoming and was a fantastic ambassador for the Club. She organised everything for us with complete professionalusm and an obviously passion for the Club.She was so friendly and helpful and made sure enjoyed our time at Kingswood.What a wonderful course, challenging and regarding in terms of the course and the natürel beauty of the surroundings. Imagine our joy to see springbox roaming around. Heaven!Thank you for making this old couple VERY welcome...and thanks again to Clarice in particular and the rest of the staff in general.

Today was a first... my friend was denied to play today because of the type of material of his pants. The dress code was met but aparently k-way material is not allowed. My golf shorts is the same but the genius behind the counter does not agree and in the most unprofessional way. Absolutely disgusted!!!

Kingswood is the best option for visiting golfers to George. The local course is of an old design and has no practise or warmup area. Fancourt is seriously posh and pricey. Kingswood is a modern, world class course at very reasonable rates. The clubhouse is a hidden gem, wonderful people, good chef, good menu. Give it a try next time you're in George.

Played my best ever round of golf here!Stunning course and not too pricey either. I really enjoyed the course layout (2 quarter-way houses) and the scenery was also beautiful.The greens were well kept and the fairways were good. The bunkers are very tricky to get out of, but luckily I didn't land in any of them.Definitely a must-play. I'll be back for sure.
