Bleak and inhospitable are about the most adequate adjectives. Owners have taken no pride in presentation: small patch of grass is mainly weed, and had not been mowed for a long while. Rest of the exterior is sandy with no landscaping. Jacuzzi was covered by a dirty old bed sheet, no wonder the water was dirty. Cold also.Inside was adequately furnished.We left immediately

Small but comfortable and clean chalets on the river. Kids really enjoyed the jacuzzi. Proved a challenge to launch and retrieve my inboard boat (slipway is shallow and slippery), but other than that really enjoyed our stay.

Nothing amazing. No service received as no one handed over keys on arrival. We were told after No one opened the main gate that the keys are jn the door. No information on the facilities on arrival. Broken play area for the kids fully equipped chalet, very clean and quaint. Very quiet private and your own jacuzzi on the porch. Also make sure you drive a high vehicle due to the rout to the chalets. They are gravel roads for about 5 to 6km which was not ideal for own sedan.

The place was perfect! Nice and quiet setting to get away from the city's hustle. The owners are very friendly. The jacuzzi was very relaxing and not too far from central Veldrift. I will definitely go again. I recommended family and friends and they cancelled their other accommodation to go here soon. Thank you Diane and hubby for a lovely stay.

Really enjoyed our stay, we will definitely be back! Place was clean, jacuzzi was the best idea for the kids. We felt safe.This is the kind of getaway all families should take, felt rested big time.
