I asked Bespoke Designs to provide a quotation to build a computer desk, complete with a custom portable light-stand which could double-up as a shelf, for my father at his retirement apartment.The desk also had to match the built-in cupboards in the apartment in both style and colour.When Gareth came to the estate, I was incredibly impressed by his knowledge. Not only did he understand what I wanted, he immediately knew the exact colour of the wood of the built-in cupboards which the desk had to match, as well as which supplier it came from.The new desk had to accommodate a laptop, printer and the custom light-shelf, and include a small cupboard for additional space.The old computer desk had two shelves with a mini fluorescent light suspended from the upper shelf to provide extra light to the laptop below. I only had a rough idea of how the new custom light-shelf might look but Gareth was able to translate this into a workable design that provided the ability to suspend the same light above the laptop and also provide additional space for speakers and other items.The price he quoted was very reasonable for a custom, well-made, quality piece of furniture and I immediately accepted it.The turnaround for the desk, despite my unique requirements, was extremely fast and it was delivered and installed on the day it was completed. It was exactly what I had asked for, solid and well-built with a double-thick top. Importantly, it also blended in perfectly with the adjacent cupboards, including the handle, so much so, it looked like it was built at the same time as the cupboards!Although not the cheapest company I got a quote from, I would highly recommend Bespoke Designs for those who value knowledge, expertise, pride and quality over price.
