Verney College

Verney College has a special place in my heart as a parent in the school. For the past three years, I have seen my children grow in character and knowledge in a way that has impressed my wife and the extended family. I specifically like the proper discipline, small class sizes, safety of the environment, individualized attention given to my children and the conducive learning environment.

Great school and amazing teachers that care, support and accept all learners for who they are! Small classrooms allow teachers to focus on each learner and provide fun, interactive lessons.

I don't like South African schools , full of nonsense, this school worse one ever , i dislike the principal ,and staff members meanstreak pretentious people, i wasted my money studying at this school. Students are so way up in the clouds( stuckup people anyway it's not good). My advice my fellow friends and family i advise you don't come to this school, schools are useless anyway don't teach us about basic life skills, how to get a job, how to pay tax and defend yourself from criminals.

Verney is an amazing school that values each learner and strives to empower all the learners both in sports and academically. My kids felt welcomed in the school and that gave me a peace of mind knowing that my kids are in a safe place.

As a parent of a learner at Verney College, I would like to offer my thank you to the administration staff, teachers, principal, ground staff and learners. They have always treated me with respect.When I first applied to have my daughter accepted as a learner at Verney, I researched the school and it's leadership and was very impressed with the ethos that the school espoused.My entry interview was an experience I will never forget, as the principle was more focused on daughter and her feelings as to who she was, and if she felt comfortable attending the school.My daughter is currently in her 10th year of attendance at Verney, and as a parent, I have never felt more secure and happy that she is a learner there. The core values of respect, non discrimination, self discipline and strong education standards has helped to shape my daughter into becoming a very well rounded individual who will be able to enter into society, contributing a great influence as a result of having attended Verney College.I would recommend Verney College to any prospective parent

My worst years of my life was spent at Verney College. They are mean and do not care about students wellfare. There is favoritism with some students (usually the rich ones) and the teachers do the bare minimum. They do not care about education they just want money.

An amazing school. My son enjoys every moment. Wonderful teachers, great atmosphere. The best school in Johannesburg South.

I am a teacher and a mother at the school. The learners have excellent manners and my son is excelling. We fell in love with this little school, very quickly.

I was a student at this school from grade 2 till matric,and loved every moment of my schooling career.The school is small,so everyone knows each other, and you truly get the one on one attention,from the principal to each and every one of the amazing teachers.They don’t just focus on your education,but on how you grow as a person as well.I truly miss being at school,and seeing everyone everyday.
