Warm and friendly staff. They are highly knowledgeable where hair is concerned. The stylist gave my son the best advice on how to treat his type of hair for the best results. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for that TLC with their hair.

I cannot shower enough accolades on this salon and its owner. My daughter and I had the great fortune to visit this salon while on a visit to Cape Town from the United States. My 23 year old daughter had been wearing her natural hair in braids for the past two years while growing out her previously relaxed hair. She hadn't worn her hair natural between the ages of 12 and 21, so she was interested in having a strand analysis and hair & scalp assessment so that she could understand how to care for her natural hair going forward out of braids. She was also interested in getting a haircut.We first arrived at Naturarose on a Saturday hoping to get a walk-in appointment after not being able to reach anyone on the salon phone. Upon arrival we found out why this was the case. The owner had closed the shop for the day to prepare for a celebration event at the property. However, when we met the owner, Rose, and told her how we had researched her salon, and saw all the positive reviews, and what we were hoping to get at her salon, and how far we had traveled and that we wouldn't be in town for too much longer, she graciously agreed to make an appointment for us for Monday (a day the salon is usually closed for business).Rose is a professional, caring, friendly, talented and knowledgeable natural hair stylist. She worked with my daughter to assess her scalp and hair. She discussed her findings and answered any questions that my daughter asked her. She demonstrated and explained every step of her suggested hair care regimen. In addition, she gave my daughter a beautiful haircut that provided shape and curl definition that my daughter will be able to maintain on her own. She followed up this great care with the typed up assessment being sent to my daughter via WhatsApp.What was a bonus was the fact that Rose creates her own products but does not strong arm her clients into buying them. My daughter did end up purchasing her serum, but after showing Rose the shampoos and conditioners that she has been using at home, Rose agreed that they would work well also with her hair type and porosity. Please note: all Rose's products are vegan and made with all natural ingredients.We loved our experience so much that we recommended Naturarose to a friend who was traveling with us, and she too visited and had a wonderful experience, receiving a wash/conditioning session along with a haircut and hair styled into a two-strand twist style. As I have two other daughters back home in the States that also wear their hair naturally, I only wish Rose and Naturarose had salons here as well!Thank you Rose!!!! You are a gem!!

For my first time being here, I had a truly amazing experience. The atmosphere was inviting and friendly. The lady who dealt with my hair showed me how to apply certain products and how to style my curly hair in ways I didn't even know. I went in there not really knowing much about curly hair but Brondene was super helpful and answered all my questions I had. I will definitely be going back, thank you so much.

I had my hair done at Naturarose and found it to be an excellent hair salon, suited for styling natural hair. They provide professional hair care from start to finish by knowledgeable stylists. Naturarose exceeded my expectations because my 4C hair came out looking and feeling incredible.
