The food is so worth every last penny. Never disappointed on food quality and portion size. Great place to eat,having a drink. Service staff like waiters are always supportive. It's the door bouncers that actually made me stop going. They have a very negative approach to patrons. I understand the need for security but it should still be done in a welcoming way that's warm and inviting. It just comes across as if you are entering as a criminal versus a patron. Further more the food makes up for that.

We had steak cutlets. Cooked to perfection. Soft and tender. Side veg delicious.Waitress a bit annoying with too frequent checking on the table. Short waiting time for food. Overall an awesome experience.

Pirates , always there for you. Be it drinks, dine or sport. And en route as in my case! Loadshedding doesn't even cause a mild hiccup.

What an incredible first experience for me.Have heard so much about The Pirates ☠ Restaurant and was not disappointed or let down in any way. Nest burgers in town. The chicken from the chicken salad was flame grilled with a delicious basting sauce.The manager was friendly, waitress was very helpful, food was quick, vegetables was fresh and the priced well. Will definitely be coming back again.I have found my new favorite restaurant.Since Friday nights also offer live music shows.Keep up the great service and don't change a thing!

This pub is a MUST try for locals! It is definitely a hidden gem and definitely underrated! Their food is really next level, best freaking ribs iv eaten,(trust me, iv tried places across SA...straight 10/10), service is excellent, food is tasty fresh and like just dik lekker and really great vibe and feel to it!

Our steaks were delicious and Joy was a great waitress. The music however was a complete let down and appeared to put quite a damper on the large birthday party that was there. Missed the old Pirates atmosphere as I had not been there in quite a long time. Maybe times have changed but it's sadly no longer for me.

What a wonderful restaurant this is! We booked my husband's 70th celebration there. The staff are absolutely amazing and helpful! We have been going there for years to spend our date night on Wednesdays, however their food has become very very expensive so we can't do this anymore!
