Doves Elsies River, poor service. Had to wait nine day for my dad's death certificate which is unacceptable. Then they rush you to make payment before the funeral, we were still waiting for the policy to pay out so we had to go borrow money. The coffin were scratched when it arrived at the house. At the graveyard the guest were chased on as the guy who is responsible for the chairs said he is tired, we must get going. We are very unhappy that people showed hardly any compassion in our time of bereavement. I feel no star is deserved but since I can't post my review with it...so sad

So difficult to deal with, during a difficult time. Took over 3 weeks to try and arrange my late Fathers ashes delivery to New Zealand. First I got no replies to my emails, then I was told very abruptly that they no longer do this service, then after talking to management they said they could and would send me through details. No details arrived so I sent another email. Finally I got a quote which was addressed for delivery from Italy to Johannesburg (still have no idea where they got Italy from) and the price was astronomical. Finally I got another company to take over at a third of the cost, and got me a quote the same day.

I went there to get information on organising a memorial service. It was as if nobody was interested. They referred me to a branch, but in such an unprofessional manner, for Durbanville, I expected much better

First when my mother joined the policy they refused to print out policy agreements that they had and yesterday she went to pay her policy the lady on the count was busy with her phone she then ask my mother to go look for change outside while she's just sitting there doing nothing. Dove chris hani mall they take advantage of elder people they just not professional . They need serious training when it comes to customer service!!!

Its been three weeks since my dad has passed. We have not received any payout nor my dads ashes. Our familys experience of Doves funeral Elsies River has been one of disgust! Nobody from Dove communicates with us and the rep is constantly on the run. Dad was given a plus sized coffin though he was a small man. If this is the level of service that Dove has to offer, then there is serious false advertising and day-light robbery.Doves Funeral Elsies River rep Felicia, should be ashamed of herself!

Worst customer services. They don't inform one when the premium has increased, you would find out later you have a shortfall cause you were paying what you know. 3 weeks later I am still waiting to be contacted for amendments on my policy. 1+ year ago a consultant gave me an email address to request a statement, they never replied.
