Top marks to Juergen and MobileWifi, we couldn’t have asked for better service. He met us where it was convenient for us in Cape Town, kept us posted on our data usage (saved me checking for myself!), and was available when we needed help. The mobile hotspot is a handy little device that fits into a pocket, so very easy to carry around. We’ll definitely contact Juergen again next time we need mobile wifi in South Africa!

The service for bringing the device and picking it up was good. That is not the case for the data usage. I was on holiday in South Afrika for 3 weeks and was doing the Garden Route the first week. From the start of my holiday i ordered 10GB. Monitoring data usage myself was not possible and would be done by mobilewifi. After 4 days i received a message that i had 1 GB left. I sent an email that i was surprised about how quick the data use is. I mean i had wifi in every accommodation where my girlfriend and me were spending the night. So we only used wifi for the navigation and occasionally looking stuff up.Because i did not want to be without internet i asked for 20GB upload. From 29th of April to 6th of May we went to Afrikaburn in the desert where there is no wifi connection at all. When we got back from Afrikaburn we stayed in a place with amazing wifi so i did not use the device that much. The 10th of May the device was picked up and all my extra 20GB was used according to mobilewifi. They deducted the amount from the deposit so i had no chance of discussing the issue.So i used 30GB for a holiday for 3 weeks although i did not used the device at all for more than a week ;( Please watch out for this!!

Outstanding service and routers were incredible! Juergen couldn't have been more helpful and accommodating - he went out of his way to make sure that everything was in place for us. And the routers worked like a dream - we rented two and had no problems whatsoever with them. I couldn't have been happier with them and was incredibly glad that we had them. I am a bit late on leaving this review, but Mobile Wifi was incredible and I can say with absolute confidence is the reason we were able to have such a smooth trip to SA a few months ago. The signal was great, the small hotspot is easy to carry in a backpack or even in your pocket and holds a great charge. It came with its own wall charger and external charger just in case, which was brilliant. We drove all the way over to the Eastern Cape from Cape Town and back, had service the whole way, and never had issues connecting when we turned the hotspot on and off as needed. Perfect for Google Maps and WhatsApp and any informational googling, two of us used it at the same time with no issues.Additionally, Juergen was very accommodating and kind, prompt and precise with free delivery and pick-up right to our Airbnb...I was blown away at the service. He was also extremely gracious when I mistakenly gave him the wrong day for our arrival because of losing a day in transit. 10/10 recommend across the board. Thanks again, Juergen!

I would highly recommend renting a pocket WiFi it to anyone who prefers convenience and a reliable product/service. This is especially useful for tourists who are visiting Cape Town for a short period of time and don't want to go through the hassle of getting a sim card. Thanks Juergen for the great service!
