Peasants Paradice
Exceptional food and great, friendly service. Best prawn toast I’ve ever tasted, with a very generous amount of prawn and black sesame.Polenta fries were also amazing. Fries themselves were perfectly crispy and not at all greasy, and the sauce was excellent - beautiful Middle Eastern style flavours.Oxtail curry puffs were also excellent - beautiful, buttery and flaky pastry with tasty filling. I wasn’t quite so convinced by the accompanying hummus but that’s just my personal taste (perhaps would have preferred a tomato or chilli based sauce with the curry flavour)Steak was our least favourite dish, but still was a good dish

Just discovered this restaurant and so happy we decided to try it. The food is amazing - a fusion of flavors. I especially love wthat the vegetable dishes were well considered and so delicious. We had the octopus (perfectly done) and the broccoli and pumpkin vegetable sides, finished off with coconut pannacotta.Every was so yum! The service is very friendly, love the atmosphere and also how it feels spacious and clean. They also have an excellent wine list too.I would highly recommend trying Peasants Paradice - think it will be on my regular rotation list! (Side note - please bottle and sell your sauces they are amazing)

The food had some of the best and most incredibly balanced flavors I’ve ever eaten. All the vegetarian dishes are gorgeous. Definitely try the radicchio dish! (Omnivores were also delighted)The atmosphere is very relaxed and enjoyable. The staff is incredible. The interior design is gorgeous. Absolutely eat here.Am absolutely tempted to fly back from the USA just to eat here.

Absolute gem of a restaurant. Every dish was amazing and excellent value. The polenta fries were the best we've ever had and it's not close.Service was lovely, and the decor and vibe were a perfect fit.Travelled all the way from Melbourne and am stoked we chose Peasants Paradice for dinner

I have been here three times and never disappointed. The food here makes Aldi's good different feel like an exaggeration. The flavours here are carefully considered, very international and becomes a fun experiment that never disappoints. Peasants Paradice knows how to blend eclectic flavours and textures, yet have that common Perth touch that feels familiar. The food makes great sharing and the service is superb with some of the best waitstaff I've seen. Friendly, Fun, maybe really really Family Friendly. The ambient music is tasteful and relaxing, and there's jazz on the weekend afternoon when I was there.Great for a group dinner, or chilling on a weekend afternoon by yourself. This has become one of my go-to places around Perth city.

A very interesting concept, which blends food and cuisines that were considered “peasants” food and upscales it to delicious shared plates. The menu is small but allows them to focus on doing these dishes well. Everything we ordered was delicious, lots of spices and flavours but the standouts for me were the oxtail curry puffs, shawarma spiced chicken, the cauliflower and the flank steak.Overall a good experience, although we thought it was also slightly pricey for so-called peasants food. Would still definitely recommend though so if you’ve been planning to try this place, don’t delay!

Went in for the Cajun Boil, which is a periodic event, but you don't have to wait for this. Their regular menu is a voyage of interesting eats, coupled with a solid wine list and a welcoming, homey vibe. Feels like dinner with a hug. There's no mango lassi, but never fear. I'm working day and night on changing this.

I ordered the chicken parfait Sambo, African doughnuts and oxtail with toast. Exciting food, layer on layer of spice without being spicy. So interesting and different to anything ive ever tasted. Add to that that the owner is just lovely. This is a phenomenal place. Thank you!

Interesting flavours in the food, not all the flavours worked together but points for creativity. A mix of African and indian. Service was great. A cool space but lighting could be dimmer.

This is a funky restaurant on the far side of Northbridge. There's a chilled vibe and the owner is very friendly and seems passionate about his food. There are some unique flavours included in the menu, including ones with influences from his heritage. We came for dinner, and it was a little on the late side, so the restaurant was quietening down. It was still a reasonable vibe inside. The standout dishes for me were the fish rillette (this was my number one). It was quite unique, really tasty, and had a great balance of flavours. It complemented the other entree-like fish we got - the oxtail hommus. That was also delicious. We also had the chicken, which was nice, but for me, not as unique (but was my partner's favourite). The letdown for us, however, was the dessert. It was simple, tasted ok, but was pretty small for the price. Overall, it was an enjoyable experience and I recommend you check it out.
