Surf Motel Umdloti

The location is perfect - just across the beach and few minutes walk from the shops and restaurants. It was great that the accommodation was pet friendly so we could stay with our two dogs. The apartment is bright and modern and conveniently furnished and the balcony has an amazing view on the ocean. Only issue we had with the apartment was that it wasn't very clean.

What we liked about this place is the location, you can't get closer to the see than this. Prime spot.Conveniently close to walk to restaurants as well.The shalet had everything we needed. Daily serviced by staff was a huge treat.The best of all its a pet friendly place. We could take our pooch with us on holiday.The Beach Motel can be recommended to anyone looking for a nice getaway close to the beach.We drove down because of our dog but it would make a lot of sense to fly down as the airport is a mere 7km's away.

My stay at Surf Motel with my boyfriend was absolutely amazing! Our room was a 10 second walk from the car park, and the beautiful deck that overlooks the ocean and the beach. Everything we needed was right there, and being able to fall asleep and wake up to the sound of the waves crashing was so relaxing. Surf Motel is located in the perfect area for someone wanting to relax. We walked across the road and we were on the beach, you walk a couple a minutes and there are shops, restaurants and a garage, which isn't something you can normally do, walk on the road with no problem. Jeff was lovely, and we chatted about the 40 ships we could count on the sea. Check in and out was super easy and convenient. And we are looking forward to stay here again. Definitely a must for people that want to feel like they're actually on a beach vacay!

We enjoyed our stay! Room was comfortable, we slept well and woke up to the sound of the ocean! Staff were very helpful and friendly from the initial enquiry to the end of the tay. l definitely recommend!

To wake up to the waves crash and when you open your cabin door and see beautiful white and yellow flowers greet on your door step. To be able to have your morning coffee on the deck while watching the sun rise over the ocean....Surf Motel is the place to be!Clean apartment, friendly staff, safe enough to take a stroll at night to the pub just a couple doors away or a walk along the shore at 5 am, this is my new Home away from Home. I loved it.

Location is goodChose this place because of close proximity to the airport and the pictures looked good but the pictures was clearly deceiving ,I was really disappointed with our chalet, place was really old and in need of urgent upgrades, chalet had a very strong odour and everything was really old besides the TV.

We had a short vacay here and we loved it. Being so close to the beach and the local shops and restaurants at such a reasonable price. We will definitely be back here for a longer stay!The rooms are neat, and cleaned daily. The public deck has an amazing view and the staff are so lovely!
