The worst service and manner I have ever experienced. Dismissed me when couldn't find garment after a pitiful 'look' and refused to 'look' again. Very rude and arrogant! There are far superior tailors - be warned - do not use them just for the convenience of their location. ZERO stars!

Wow, they did an amazing job on a complicated shoulder pad removal from a sequins dress! And they managed to get a new hemline right that another tailor totally messed up.

Disgusting! Hugo Boss trousers ruined. Instead of shortening the length of the trousers, they made a hole. Do not give them your things under any circumstances. Of course, there was no compensation for the damage to the branded item.

Incredible service, will definitely return for future alterations. Had a pair of jeans and a pair of trousers taken in, and a top shortened. I dropped them off at 7pm and everything was finished by 8:30pm, and all fit perfectly!

Please do not go to Tidy Tucs Waterfront unless you merely going to shorten an item of clothing.I paid R470 to have 3 pants taken in by the waist, shortend in length and tightened.I was very specific with them about what I wanted done and they came highly recommended by my sister.I was so disappointed when I fit my pants on at home. It looked like I had no shape to my body and the job was obviously rushed so that they could make quick money. I should have trusted my instincts as the guy couldn't even speak English properly and that was mistake number 1 as he clearly didn't understand what it is I wanted. When I collected my pants I asked him if I can fit them on and he said no because somebody was in the changing room. So I told him if there is something wrong with the pants he must fix it and he said he will charge extra for it. I disagreed with him and said I refuse to pay if he made a mistake. The pants look terrible. I am a very skinny woman and I need to wear form fitted clothing to enhance my body shape and these clothes now make me look like I have a huge buldge at the crotch area and no shape at all. The sewing is also very skew and the finishing touches looked rushed. Now I sit with 3 very expensive pants that I cannot wear. I refuse to take them back to Tidy Tucs only to have them messed up more. They were pakistani I think and I am not discriminating but I think it is a bad idea for us South Africans to trust them with our services as the language and communication barrier plays a huge role. They are in South Africa to make money and I stand to be corrected by this statement but clearly they think they can pull the wool over our eyes. They are not here for doing quality work.I do not recommend them. I am disappointed, the quality of their work is bad. Rather find a tailor who is South African as they would understand the culture here.It is an expensive lesson learnt. I am very apprehensive to take my clothes away for alterations now and I think I won't buy clothes that need be altered cause that is too risky.Thank you for reading about my experience but never ever doing this again!
