Awesome place for a day out with the kids! Tons of stuff to do - zip line , feeding animals , etc etc well worth a day visit if you got kids.Also the food is pretty decent!

A great family destination! So much to do - everything from camel rides, to archery, to waterslides. Wonderful restaurant with reasonable prices and delicious food. Well-stocked gift shop with local wine selection too.

We stayed at Wilgewandel for a few days and they have left the best impressions! The kids had a blast and there was not one moment where they were unhappy or bored.At Wilgewandel you will dine on delicious meals, all very reasonably priced. From all the different meals we had - tramezzinis, burgers, salads, roosterkoek, breakfasts- we did not experience any that had any flaws or snags. The dessert was heavenly. There is a seperate loadshedding menu, so clients know what is available during those forced power outages.The room we stayed in was comfortably furnished, neat and clean. The bed bases are not the general boxed upholstered type, but wooden frame/slats, so all those bulke suitcases and bags can be stored underneath, a win in my books! Our room's walls are slightly yellowed and needs a lick of paint to aesthetically match the rest of the farm, but judging by the wall crack treatment it seems that it will happen very soon. The room has a gas heater and rechargeable bulbs, so you will shower in comfort and still read in bed in spite of loadshedding.At Wilgewandel you can expect welcoming, friendly, hospitable hosts and staff. Their service is prompt. They clearly have regard for the South African visitor's budget and do not inflate their prices to benefit from the overseas tourist that can comfortably pay with Dollars, Euros or other strong currencies.How they manage, maintain, optimise and care for the large premises, animals, rooms, restaurant, shop and many activities is highly commendable.If you are looking for a comfortable, down-to-earth stay, activities and accommodation in the Oudtshoorn/Cango area, I recommend Wilgewandel! I would love to come back here again and again.

Surroundings and camel rides are just the best. the Shop is amazing, service fast and efficient. loved that the owner came to say hi. A bottomless coffee would have been great!!!

Because it's so popular it can get very full. It's a fun place to spend the day with family members young and old the rides and activities is affordable as a local I appreciated that. Their system they use to buy/order food and buy a beverage/tickets can improve and be streamlined to avoid the congestion, our food order also took way long because it was never sent to the kitchen but over all a lovely experience.

The farm is a pleasant destination for families with young children, offering plenty of room to run around and have a good time. Nonetheless, the food could use some enhancement.

Great service. Friendly. Loads of activities for kids. They were exceptionally kind to my elderly dad and even helped us in car etc. He really enjoyed himself. My son loved it too. The whole family

We had a lovely time visiting Wilgewandel. We had something to drink and then did a few of the acitivities. It was a very enjoyable experience.
