Really amazing food for a great price. Portions are BIG and the cips are the proper slap chips you want. I have ordered here at least 10 times already and have never been disappointed, though I have only ordered from the fat cake menu.The staff are very friendly and helpful. Once my order was missing cheese, and they fixed it within seconds.This is not a restaurant, but takeaway.If you are new, grab the crunchy chicken fat cake and chips for R45. Want something with a bite? Grab a prego chicken/beef fat cake.Writing this review made me hungry...

I bought a chicken sandwich and the patty tasted like paper , also tried out the chicken pops,definitely give it a 0/10. It really was a bad experience for me

Tasty, budget friendly food and good service. Their 2 crispy chicken burgers & chips for R85 is crazy delicious and massive portions! My only complaints would be that they aren't open during loadshedding and the food in the front display case isn't fresh. Other than that would definitely recommend when on a budget.

Not impress at all. Not only to get half the food you pay for. But staff closing shop literally in seconds and then you come back from shop to collect to find a closed store after 10min. I support that shop once a week for years already. Bye bye business you are pethetic. Will spend a cent with you ever again

Absolutely disgusting. Last night I bought my usual but got a bunch of oily, raw chips that was made in old oil. You could taste the burnt oil. And the viennas were burnt and disgusting. You just lost a loyal customer.

Want to take a break from cooking for the night? I highly recommend Fat Cake City for their delicious traditional South African fat cake. They handle every customer like royalty and their service is excellent! They had their cheese russian and chips special, and let me tell you it was absolutely divine! They have a variety to choose from whether you are just popping in for a quick snack or getting dinner for the family. Great value for money and amazing specials to suit your budget.

Good food. Big variety. Service can be jacked up. Do not stand eating your lunch in front and turn your back on the queue. Please do something to the sauce and spice table. Dirty and unhygienic.Outside tables clinghy and oily.But after all food is good

Their specials are good, would just like to order in advance, but can never get ahold of them on their contact number, so always end up in a huge line to order and wait for the food at peak times. As this is only take away, I can't give a rating on the atmosphere, as all they have are peopke waiting to order or waiting for their takeaway order

If I could give 0 stars I would. Never received the bad service we received today. The cashiers chatting with each other and not even ringing our whole order, when we queried it she asked Must I ring it again" but she could've clearly see something is missing as she rang 4 stuff up but what about the 5th person??? Won't see me again."
