Elyolo Karoo Guest Farm
Real gem stuck away in the heart of the Karoo. Positioned approximately 90kms inland from Willowmore surrounded by absolutely beautiful koppies and spare vegetation the main farm house has an aura of peace and tranquility surrounding it. Plenty of Springbok and Kudu in the veld. Lots of bird species are found here too. Good place to stopover and recharge one's battery and zest for life

On 25 March 2016, we got stranded, so to speak, by the flooding of Meiringspoort and tried to reach Klaarstroom via Willowmore. The dirt road was a nightmare and 10km from Klaarstroom we could not go through one of the driwwe". We had to turn back and found ourselves on Elyolo grounds.We were 2 cars with 9 people altogether.Not only did Helene and her staff welcome us like old friends

Elyolo is delightful. Very peaceful with beautiful scenery in a remote location. The rooms are very large and comfortable. The food at the restaurant is delicious. The manager is very friendly and helpful.

Elyolo Karoo Guest Farm
We had a family get-together for 4 nights in the main farmhouse. Was the ideal place. Big indoor braai, spacious house, well-equipped kitchen and a great porche. We walked, ran, swam in the dam and appreciated Helene and the staff's enthusiasm to make our stay memorable. We had a great time. Thank you!!

Helene is an awesome hostess. The Kudu and Eland Camp sites are amazing. We have spent a week long at each over the last 2 years and they have both been amazing holidays!

I stayed at El Yolo to attempt Blesberg Mountain. They provided me with the necessary route information and assisted with access, plus I got a lovely braai when I got back from the hike. Hagaskloof is another great (although much easier) hike in the region. Really enjoyed my stay!

Elyolo Karoo Guest Farm
We biked into Kudu camp and had an amazing evening there. On the way out one biker crashed and injured himself. Without the help of the farm workers we would not be able to get the bikes out and the neighbour farmer (Nico) went out of his way to help by taking the injured biker to Oudshoorn Mediclinic. The road in and out to kudu camp is challenging on a bike but we will be back. Thanks Helene!!
