I’ve been buying from Country Woods for close to two years now on a regular basis, and I have nothing but praise for them. Service is friendly, fast and they don’t hesitate to offer good, practical advice.The prices are extremely competitive (the best in Cape Town, I dare to say), the personnel are top notch, the range of products is extensive, delivery is free (even to Wellington!) and the timber is always exactly what I’ve expected.Give Leo and the guys a call or pay them a visit for good old-fashioned excellence. I have them on speed dial!

I am a amateur guitar builder so I am always looking for an offcut special type of wood from time to time in their bargain bin. Roy and Leo has always been so tremendously helpful, no matter the size of the transaction. Then there is also Wesley that is always willing to cut and plane it to size for me. If I have to choose between Country Woods and Rare Woods, there is actually no comparison when it comes to service, price and most of all, friendlyness.
