I haven’t been to a hair dresser in 4yrs and now I remember why. Worst experience ever. The lady who shampooed my hair was friendly, but the comment the one who blow dried my hair made, sure knows how to make someone feel bad. I wear my hair naturally curly and asked that they take care when combing my hair as it gets very knotty. One of the ladies made a snide remark. I was already feeling anxious but very politely made my requests. This is the reason why curly haired woman stay away from hair dressers. There is no accommodation. Besides that customer service is not big at this salon. First impressions last and I will never go back and also never refer anyone to this salon

I took my 15 year old son for a haircut this morning and clearly that lady cant cut hair. First i had to wait outside with my trolley coz there is no space, which i understood. I returned to the salon and a trolley is parking inside. I stood outside and my son came out, but he was not happy with the cut himself, the trim infront was not straight, he had a fader cut, but it didnt look like it. I dont know where she got her degree to cut hair and you pay R140 for an aweful cut! Very dissapointed.

I visited Hair Channel today, very misleading. Appears to be upmarket but alas not. Very unprofessional and unfriendly staff. At one point I had to ask the'stylist' if she usually blows hair!!!! She was prepared to let me leave the salon with an unfinished look.They don't even have sulphate-free products . Really disappointing experience for the amount I spent. Never going back there.

Hi .Adele from the salon fried my hair she was so unprofessional like if you know you can’t get my hair to the colour I want why say you can do my hair and why tell me I’ll look good with red hair if I wanted a specific ombré colour? Also she was busy on her cellphone the whole time and I literally had to call her to check my hair because it’s been long and I know that bleach pulls quick note that my hair was not dark colour it was a light red color. My ends was like bubble gum i could literally pull my hair out I had to cut my hair at another salon on the same day the one next to game n1 city and Adele told me I don’t need to cut my hair I just need a trim but my hair was literally like bubble gum and fried I told her to not blow dry my hair to just put a treatment on and left. The picture you see is after 2 months or so I didnt use any heat my hair grew abit and my ends were still snapping and some strands were still like bubble gum and the other picture was my hair length note that my hair colour was like a red/orange that time I went. If you can’t do something say you can’t and be honest also stay off your cell when busy with clients don’t damage their hair we go to salons to feel better about ourselves not worst !

I've been visiting Hair Channel for about 3 years. The ladies are amazing, friendly and welcoming. Marsha always goes above and beyond and I'm always very happy with the results.Thank you ladies.

Highly overpriced. R300 for a trim with no wash is insane. You aren't using water or electricity for a dry trim, R300 is excessive. You need adjust your prices, the neighboring salon Sunflower in N1 City has way better pricing.

After making it known to the ladies that this will be my daughter's first hair cut and she will be donating her hair, there was nothing special in her experience except for the ridiculous price for a dry cut without even a wash!
