Comfort Guest House

Worst experience ever in my life. They advertise that Jacuzzi is working but it's cold and they say it works on solar. Staff was drunk and kept on coming to our room. This place must be banned on Google don't even try waste your money try somewhere else

This is the worst accommodation that I have ever booked. There was hair in out sheets that wasn’t even ironed, it looked like someone slept in the bed before us. They are still building or something, there are building equipment everywhere and its just not neat!! So we overlooked all of this and thought that we were over reacting. So at about 23:30 when we were getting ready for bed. The entire Zoo came out in our room. There was a cricked, fish moth and a small cockroach. So i got super disgusted. There was a huge yellow stain on the duvet and holes in the sheets that i assume came from the fish moths. When my husband picked up his pillow a huge (but i mean huge, the biggest one me and my husband has ever seen, about 8cm long) cockroach fall out of the pillow case. It ran to the bathroom but was just to fast for me to take a foto. It ran behind the toilet an it was gone. So we just had enough and started packing our stuff. I would rather sleep in my car than at this place. The manager didn’t want to give back our money. When our friend talked to the manager she said that she can’t help for the insects and we are already booked in. We got accommodation at 00:30 with another place that made us feel so welcome even though it was in the middle of the night.

Very disappointing. Nobody told me that they are busy with renovations, so it was a construction site where we were supposed to relax. Holes in bedding and towels. No complimentary water or glasses. No tea, coffee, milk, sugar. No DSTV in King. Lights out in various rooms. Plus, the owner denied being the owner and hesitantly said yes when asked if he was the manager. What kind of owner does that? One who has something to hide. No apology for the fact that the renovations were supposed to be finished 2 weeks before our arrival. I am declaring it a dump. The staff try their best, but the owner seems too stingy to buy new bedding, supply refreshments and have things repaired. Thanks to Dorcas and Florence for doing their best with what they have at their disposal. The 2 stars are for them.

It's a beautiful place.It's just that the workers chill with guest and don't give them privacy! There was this guy who worked there who would just take out drinks without asking.

The rooms are clean but other areas like kitchen requires attention, the staff need to be strained, after checking in the lady only showed us the room the rest we had to figure out, there's no pool but just a small jacuzzi which we were told is solar powered the guy who knows how to heat the water was not around, but it's usually full cause the guest house accommodate lot of people. Just be prepared to cater yourself Uber eats app can be handy, we asked for breakfast which they said will take upto 2 hours 30 minutes, while Uber eats takes 25 minutes. But the rest is history hope the owner of this place take this reviews serious, the place need special attention it's untidy

Very dissatisfied,firstly the guest house is not as advertised.Basically it was a ongoing construction site (Nowhere anybody told us about it)Then there was the fact that the voice intercom system did not have sufficient airtime,resulting in us getting stuck outside the gate in the dark.We felt quite uneasy in the dangerous situation.When we finally did get to enter the guest house,after we started settling in discovered yellow stains on bedding,pillow case was torn,towel could remove the skin from your back,there was a kettle but no coffee,water or cup’s.The fridge in our room was switched off and had a fowl smell.There was a tv but could not be switched on due to the fact that the remote did not have batteries.All of the above we could still overcome,but in our other room we discovered a HUGE cockroach inside the pillow case,the bedding seemed ‘used’ and had even worse stains on.We tried to negotiate with the manager who only said that there was nothing she could do about the cockroaches and did not believe us about the stained bedding.She did offer us another room.But we declined the offer due to fact that it became clear the guest house had poor management,lack of customer support and they had a total disregard for customer satisfaction and above all disgusted with the cockroaches in the beds!We had to get new accommodation at 00:30 at night.Without any refund or any offer there off.The place is a mismanaged construction dump,we will never suggest this accommodation to anyone.This was the worst and most misleading accommodation that I have ever experienced.Definitely NOT recommend this place for anyone!

The only good thing was the location. We did not feel safe there, as there was still renovations going on. Our booking was made a month ago and then cancelled due to incompetent staff members. When confirming the booking and realising there is no booking, we were given rooms in the ‘backyard’. Noisy guests, workers, half the things were falling off the walls, like towel rail, toilet roll holder etc. Towels were torn and rock hard. Nothing as advertised. No breakfast included and no room service the next day! Although the rooms inside the house were attended to! We were very disappointed and would not recommend this guesthouse.

The noise due to construction even on a Sunday, no refreshments were provided. The bedding, towels and room wear clean. The only good thing about this place is their staff. Those 2 ladies were friendly and welcoming
