There are Friendly staff and there is never a delay with food when it’s ordered. The menu has a large variety of items to choose from and they also cater for the children. The quality of the food is made according to the franchise so there is no problem there. The Quantities are a bit small, but the taste makes up for it.

Food and service not very good at all. Bacon was burnt. Pointless tiny tomato on breakfast plate. Place dirty.

I wouldn't even score them one star!!!! Poor service, waited so loong for one breakfast and there weren't many customers to justify. Had to flag someone down to see what happened When I finally got my orderit was cold, toast was rubbery and eggs over cooked. Coffee was like warm milky water. Felt cheated for paying so much ! :( Wont go back and wont recommend it at all. Shame on you whimpy for such poor service!

Friendly staff. Food was delicious and probably the first Wimpy I've been to where the cutlery doesnt smell like egg.

Despite few customers, staff were slow in seating us. The server did not bring an item despite being asked for it.

The eggs were off. I had scrambled eggs there last week and they were buttery and tasty. Today, we walked in and no one attended to us. We had to take our own menus and find a seat. I ordered the mielie breakfast with scrambled eggs and the eggs smelled disgusting. I asked the waitress to smell it and she just looked at me and then took it back to the kitchen. I overheard her say “She said the eggs smell funny”. A few minutes later the same plate was returned and the top layer of eggs where I had added salt and pepper were removed. They had simply scraped off the top layer and did not make new eggs. The eggs obviously still smelled off and had a rubbery texture with a greyish tint. It was appalling and I refused to eat it.

The usual Wimpy food. Value for money. Service and friendliness of staff puts the Gonubie franchise way ahead of the other restaurants in the franchise
