Carl stole my money. Phoned countless times and he keeps on having excuses. Steer clear of this business and don't pay any deposits you will never see your money again.

Scammer send you the quote and as soon as you pay the deposit Carl Uys stops responding. I’ve gone to the work shop and George didn’t even know what I was taking about. They are fraudsters please avoid them.

More than Six months since paying my deposit on the 5 of February. Keeps giving me excuses and telling me he wil confirm things with his colleague. Says he’ll phone me back but never does. Keeps pushing my installation date. The colleague George is a sub contractor and has no involvement aside from the installations. This business is clearly in financial crisis as the below review would suggest. Dont waste your time or money here. This has been one of the worst business experiences I have had to date

Potential clients be forwarned of Smartshax. Carl Uys takes your order and deposit and that is where it ends. I ordered a garden shed. Paid a deposit of R17 000 on 31 March 2022. Never got my shed and he still owes me R15 000. Asked my deposit back after 3 months and was informed its used for running cost. He paid back only R2 000. Carl Uys, said they have financial problems and in the process of selling his house. Info which should be personal. He lied about my material being bought by sending me a 'quote'. I phoned the supplier who confirmed it was not an order and not been paid. Please do not do business with this business as they will maybe satisfy one client with other client' deposits and you may he the unlucky one/s like me.

4 weeks after paying my deposit of R12000.00, I have not heard from Carl or received a receipt for my deposit or any indication of when the shed will be delivered. When I called him today he was full of excuses and tales of financial woes. Has anyone actually received a product from this company lately? What can we do?
