Very unfriendly staff and manager. Not one greeted me, and my questions were irritatingly answered! Apparently owner on holiday. They close at 4, and I entered at 3.45, so I guess its home time. So I was being mopped around my feet, being told to move. They wanted to charge me for the fomo packaging they packaged the fish in! I informed them it's illegal, and was grunted at, that is how they do it.. Shop looks very grimey and jaded. Fish looks good. First and last time I'll buy fish there!

Foods ok, but once again, the back area does not comply with basic food preparation and cleanliness standards. I wonder if there is even a licence from the health department to trade as a food supply shop. I don't think the area has been cleaned in a long while and the filth is openly visible. I also spent the whole day smelling dirty oil and other food smells on my shirt

I don't have enough experience there. I bought mediocre 2 buns but it didn't make me feel I really want to go back. This is not to say it is bad.

First time. I loved the chips which the very helpful and friendly lady packaged up for us. The potato latkes was amazing. The fish balls were very filling and we bought too many( but finished them all). Will definitely come again when in Jhb.

Don't be fooled by the photos of neatly laid out tables and chairs. Don't take my word for it but come and see for yourself that this is basically a glorified kosher deli with half-a-dozen outside tables.I asked for a menu but I was told there wasn't one and the waiter insisted on showing me what I could order. Maybe I was too trusting but when the bill came it was at least twice I was I would have paid anywhere else then Johannesburg.I paid but I complained to the waiter about the lack of menu and poor transparency. He said he would call the manager but I waited in vain before leaving in disgust.
