It was like staying in a magical forest with butterflies all around. The cabins were clean and the staff friendly. In the evenings a big campfire add to the atmosphere. The dive masters and instructors are above average And the skipper was very informative and shared his knowledge freely. Thanks to Emile, Robbie, Coenie and Karl. See you in 2 months time

It was a pleasure staying with Triton. Johan made us feel welcome and went beyond his duties to make sure everything is to our liking. The scuba diving excursions are world class. The lodge needs a bit of upkeep, but their hospitality more than makes up for the minor inconveniences. Since my last visit, the bar and restaurant on the lodge has sadly closed, but there are enough other places nearby. The rooms are basic with minimum amenities. The kitchen is fully equiped to handle almost any dish you wish to prepare. It was a good experience overall.

Since having tried most of the other diving operators, we have become Triton regulars. Their diving safety, discipline, service and sense of excellence is unparalleled. The accommodation is comfortable and well equipped and affordable. Their staff is friendly, accommodating and well trained. We had a wonderful time, as usual!

Triton Dive Lodge has always been my home away from home. The accommodation can be described as 'rustic perfection' - it is the perfect meeting point of nature and convenience, especially when desperately seeking a much needed break from the intense city life. It is a short drive to the centre of town and the beach, where supplies are easily accessible and the beach, clean and safe.The staff at Triton are truly incredible, they are warm, welcoming, knowledgable, always ready to give you a hand, share a story, generous with their time and you always leave feeling like you have become part of the family there. The evening braais and laughs around the communal fire pit area, are always the perfect finish to a fantastic day's diving (or beaching for the non--divers).The diving is absolutely breathtaking there, there is a reason that Sodwana is known as one of the tops dive sites internationally. Triton follows safe diving practices, with particular attention to environmental awareness and their love of all things water related can be felt in any & all interactions with their team.Triton Dive Lodge is a truly special place and I am counting down the days till I get to return.

Forget about booking here if you don't have a 4x4. We were told the road would be fine for a small sedan, but it was a 1.3 km stretch of deep soft sand. Got stuck and caused damage to our vehicle.We booked a room with a double bed, but got two single mattresses pushed together. The room was okay, but wasn't very clean when we arrived.It seems like there could be a nice atmosphere when it's fully booked. The staff were very kind, but not informed about the area and activities. I can only speak for the accommodation and not the diving tours (which seem fun).Note that we had to pay R 90 for two people to go to the Sodwana bay beach (unrelated to Triton).

Good to back diving with Triton after the travel restrictions kept us away. Diving in Sodwana is as good as ever and the experienced, caring staff at Triton make the stay a comfortable, welcoming experience. Nowhere better to clear the lockdown/COVID blues with great diving, lots of open space and a safe, professional crew and environment.

The people who owns the place are amazing! They helped us after a terrible night we had after we got stuck with our car without a place to sleep, they searched after us for 40 minutes with their tractor at night. And in the morning we accidentally locked out car key at the trunk and they even Helped us break into the car.

Visit Triton on average 4 times a year for the last 20 years. Best dive lodge in Sodwana. Friendly staff and will always go the extra mile to make your stay and dive that special.They are the best!!!!

Triton always have been and still are the Guys to dive with at Sodwana. You are never treated just like a number. And nothing is ever too much trouble.. If there is a complaint it is dealt with and sorted out without any fuss. The crew are always friendly and eager to help with anything you do. The DM s are extremely accommodating as well as the top class skippers.I have been diving for 20 yrs now and dived with many other charters, and yet I always end up going back to Triton. The camp is really a super break away from the daily rutt, and rustic yet very comfortable. Thanks Eve and crew,keep up the good work!! See you in October again!!
