Mafikeng Game Reserve
A charming little reserve bountiful in plains game. Plenty of kudu, black wildebeest, impala, Springbok and red hartebees. We also saw eland, gemsbok, waterbuck and worthog. The ecology of the reserve is well maintained. Huge potential for tourism and accommodation but sadly facilities are delapidated and poorly maintained.

Wasn't expecting much. Was SO impressed with the density, diversity and great condition of the game. More importantly you can cycle through the park which is awesome. Some of the facilities sadly fallen behind in upkeep but otherwise well worth a visit (especially by bike).

Ive been here so many times. You can catch a glimpse of animals like the girraffe, rhino, wildebeest and ostrich. I love Noka, we can chill there in the Bush scenery eat feast while watching animals pass by. I do love the caravan area too.

Looked for the place but never found it. All we saw was abounded old houses and a scary entrance thar looked like a dumping side.

We use the tented camp. Very nice setup between the trees. Unfortunately water was a problem. You must bring your own drinking water and the water supplied is not clean. Then the general maintenance is not up to standard. Notwithstanding this we enjoyed it tremendously. Officials very friendly and helpfull.

Mafikeng Game Reserve
The staff were friendly and the animals were in a very good condition taking into account that we were there just after winter before the summer rains has started. However the same cannot be said about the tent camp where we stayed. They had to run a generator during the day and sometimes at night to pump water that we can use. Quite a lot of maintenance is needed in the camp. It has potential if work is done at the camp.
