Lake Pleasant Living Apartments

Traders at Lake Pleasant was an absolute pleasure. Firstly the venue stunning overlooking the lake / Groenvlei. Secondly the service was excellent and attentive and last but not least the food was superb and deliscious. I had the best Vege burger I have tasted yet. The other diners at my table all gave the food a double thumbs up. The prices are very reasonable and a great time was had by all.

One of the best ablution blocks we have ever seen in a camping ground. The stands are also very good. Level and well grassed. The houses on offer is well furnished and clean.

Lovely stay as usual, have been staying since 2002 and was so happy to see to see the place keep just as it was new and so well maintained. Steve from Traders was an excellent host. Thank you Lake Pleasant and will definitely visit again

We stayed in villa no 5 over the December holidays. The views and location of the Lake Pleasant is fantastic. The villas are comfortably built , but the maintenance on the villas is below average. The gardens at Lake Pleasant are beautiful. Pool has beautiful view. However at the pool the staff does not put cushions on the chairs. Inside the building there used to be a spa. It is now completely run down and stands empty. Our villa had problem after problem, being the worst that the aircon in the second bedroom never worked. We were told, this can't be fixed as it is holiday season. However we were paying holiday season rates. My scullery flooded from the dishwasher, the safe was locked, the doors to the outside could not open, the tap was lose. We had to phone the maintenance manager on a daily basis. In short ..Lake Pleasant has great potential but the place is old and run down and need proper maintenance. When I asked for a partial refund for the aircon not working I was told that it was not hot so there should not have been a problem !

Lake Pleasant is a hidden gem that has to be visited. The self catering Villas are very modern and furnished tastefully. Each Villas has its own pool and build in gas braai. Whether it is for a sleep over or extended stay, you will not be disappointed.

It's a beautiful complex in lush green gardens, , and situated on Lake Pleasant fresh water lake. 2 beautiful swimming pools to choose from, and the estate is fully secured with an electronic gate. Totally relaxing, but close enough to the shops when you need them.

We enjoyed our stay at Lake Pleasant Living. The room was very comfortable and luxurious and the surrounding gardens and lake made us feel very tranquil.

Come to relax and take in the beauty. The apartment feel like 5 star old money :) we loved it. If you need to do some work online, good luck as the internet speeds as like 5mbps if you are lucky.

Great food. Nice and peaceful. Great now the reeds have been cleared.

Lovely setting with a nice view across the lake. We enjoyed a relaxing brunch on the shaded verandah. Food was good and very reasonably priced. Manager and waiters are very friendly and accommodating. It was our second visit to the restaurant and we will certainly visit again when next in Sedgefield
