The most beautiful view in Strand. Have a sundowner and peer out the window at the old peer, while enjoying a draft beer or Brandy and Coke special. They also have interesting live music on weekends.

Lovely little place, with great customer service, a great view, and drafts are poured into beer mugs, must visit if you are in the area!

Chris and Shane were amazingly friendly and helpful. They had no kitchen or menu but offered us the table to have a beer and finish our Steers from next door. Awesome views and will definitely go back!

We just love to visit this unpretentious tavern for a sun downer! Nearer to the sea, you can not get. They don't serve food here, but simply take your Stears burger or Oceana fish and chips, and down it with a beer. They do not mind it at all.

I gave it 3 stars mostly because of the location. You can sit at the window overlooking the ocean right underneath you, with Table Mountain far in the distance. The bar itself is very basic, they don't serve any food, only drinks. A big downside is that they allow people to smoke in the venue which is not great as a non-smoker, especially considering that smoking indoors is actually illegal. Not sure how they're allowed to do that. Would go there way more regularly if smoking wasn't allowed.
