Heaven on earth! Cottages are amazing and in full view of the mountain range! Gold course, swimming pool, heated pool, spa, fine dining, shop on property, fun activities for the kids!

Fairways Drakensberg Resort
A beautiful place, but the unrenovated units are looking like tired. RCI Gold Crown doesn’t deserve this status due to the place needing some TLC. Tennis courts are so cracked, squash court from 1960. Friendly staff and the restaurant food is good, just gotta watch the items are sometimes served Luke warm. Hikes and views are good. Golf course also needs some TLC.

Resort was awesome and staff friendly but Very disappointed with breakfast that we paid R 170 per person for really not worth it we were a team of 10 and 10 people can't all be wrongEggs we had to send back 3 times the mushrooms were black and frozen the sausages we raw everything about the breakfast was horrible such a waist of R 1700 will never eat at that restaurant again

My family and I went up to Fairways for a long weekend in October and my word were we blown away. The views are absolutely breath taking and the overall atmosphere is so relaxing and peaceful you truly feel like nothing can bother you. My brother and I indulged in many of the activities offered by the front desk at the hotel such as tennis, archery, zip lining, horseback riding, biking and hiking. If you want to play golf you need to go to the golf course front desk. Overall, I would gladly come back to Fairways and stay a WEEK! a weekend is not enough for a holiday at this perfect place.

Wow!! Houses are spacious and extremely clean. Area's around are clean and green! And the views are amazing! Every unit has their own washing machine and tumble dryer. Even in loadshedding, they made use of a generator. It was an amazing week at Fairways! Highly recommended⛰️

Very picturesque. Fantastic golf course right in the heart of the mountains. This is one of my favorite golf courses that is very well kept.

It is a lovely resort although very far. Personnel friendly. The road from Underberg is not maintained and surface broke over long stretches. What really disappointed me as the doors and windows must be kept closed due to baboon activity. All the lovely mountain wasted. A person should expected that some screens could be put up to keep the wild life outside.A really concern is the generator that kicks in twice during the night. My unit is close to generator and for 2 hours at a time my sleep is interrupted. I am so tired in the morning that I am not fit for very little activities. I could handle the bad roads but I can't handle to constant tiredness.I am traveling all over the county and most resort revert to led lights to be used.It is a pity but I will not visit this resort again
