Mangwanani Boutique Spa Birchwood

Took my son for his 21st birthday to Mangwanani Boutique Spa at Birchwood. What an absolute disappointment.They will never see me nor my family again!

Friendly staff, so relaxing, vibe is chilled, clean and very well organized. Thank you ladies, you were great!! Enjoyed every second!

We went to the Pivot for the night spa and it was beautiful so we decided to try Birchwood for our anniversary, it was really disappointing. The room was not dim, no calming music at all. The therapists are not very good either but they do their best and they are friendly.I will definitely book Mangwanani Pivot again but not Birchwood.

Absolutely dismal place and experience. Sadly Mangwanani Birchwood drags the reputation of Mangwanani through the mud and dirt.Went to celebrate with a friend and it was such a disappointment.Do not waste your time and lots of money going there.... Even the staff seem demotivated

Look the spa itself needs abit of work but the ladies were friendly and did their jobs well.the food was also really nice!Thank you fifi and pearl

So after reading a significant amount of reviews, I was extremely anxious to go for our appointment.. But seeing as I had ichy fingers and had paid in full, we had to go.On arrival, the receptionist was very friendly and helpful and the golf cart was ready to take us to lunch.. Lunch wasn't anything special but food was decent. The overall waiting hall is very bright and not decorated in any special way but it's neat and tidy. The massages.. The rooms are very bright but that isn't an issue for me at all. It was clean and neat. The therapists were great and friendly and did their jobs really well. It was abit hot as the aircons weren't on in any of the rooms so that was the only suggestion. It was also a little noisy with the planes and music team testing for dinner set up but nothing too drastic. Overall, it was not a terrible experience at all and I will definitely go back.

We went there for one of my friends birthday. We were extremely dissatisfied with the appearance of the spa, it is old and dirty. I would not recommend this place at all. The message therapists were good but the place is a complete let down.

My experience was given to me as a birthday gift, wish we had read the reviews beforehand.The entrance with the Mangwanani covered in grass with the two chairs you would expect the set the tone, sadly it does not.My arrival was great, the staff is friendly, however, I found I PAID for the Mangwanani experience and received an average mom and pop spar experience. I was INCREDIBLY disappointed. Especially since the brand Mangwanai is not cheap. if you can go to a different spa its not worth the price.

Worst experience ever. The bathrooms are disgusting and dirty. The food was not worth the price at all. The staff are very unprofessional. There were maintenance guys walking in and out the entire time. Not quite at all. I booked a halfday package for me and my mother and paid R2500 for both of us.The full body massage was okay, the massage rooms are a bright white color with a lot of sun coming in, difficult to relax in such a bright room. The rooms are very cold and I was freezing throughout the entire massage.Moving on to the shoulder and neck message… you get massaged in the same room with a bunch of strangers, you are barely dressed (only wearing a very thin white gown) which makes you feel very uncomfortable as it is thin and almost see through.We decided to not do the halfday spa as it was not a good experience at all and we felt very uncomfortable and wanted to rather leave. This place will never see me again
