The food was lovely and the waitress was very helpful in explaining all the different foods and what they contained . The sweet and sour pork was amazing . The chicken noodle soup and chicken noodle stir fry was so tasty and was presented beautifully .

Food was average and lacked value for money. The mains came in drips and drabs over a 30 min period. Owner was not pleasant in her body language and attitude towards people of colour. We felt rushed even though the food was delayed, like they wanted to turn the table around for more guests. We could not all eat together being a birthday function. Overall the food quality and value for money at our local Chinese restaurant is far superior.

Went on Father’s Day and even though it was full the service was still very good. The food here is always really good and comes in good portion sizes.

Authentic Chinese restaurant.I had the Chicken noodle soup. The portion size was massive. Can share between 2 or 3 people at least. Vibe was great.The service needs a spruce up (need soy sauce when Food arrives, need spoons for soups, things waiters should look out for) the resturant was not packed.... but.... I will be back! Absolutely great food and value for money

The food was average and disappointing. Fresh food but basic. The service wasn't there unless you called a waitress although they were friendly. The restaurant interior is too dark. We used our phone lights to read the menu's

I’ve eaten at the Red Chamber a handful of times over the years. Their food is always tasty and the portion sizes are decent.The service today was average despite the restaurant being practically empty.The venue is a little dark inside and I think it’s busier at night.Today, I was disappointed by the overall eating experience. It won’t be on top of my list for venues when I next visit Hyde Park.

24.05.2018 After test tasting some good wines at the Kaya FM wine festival that was happening in the mall we needed something to eat.We did a quick stop here, but definitely want to go back again as we only ordered starters which filled us up. We ordered the Sesame toast and the Thin Spring Onion Pastry. Both were absolutely delicious and full of flavour. The staff were all pleasant and helpful with recommendations and a trip down memory lane when we got the bill and received a White Rabbit" sweet."
