Research what things cost new before visiting. R500 for a life jacket in poor condition that I would never have been able to sell on because the binding was shredded and the zip catching.Big Catch in Paarden Eiland sold me a brand new one for R419.

This shops stock is so old that the stock is faded and outdated years ago, the second hard boards are in horrendous shape and the asking price is unbelievable. I would not advise setting afoot into this store, total scammers and rip offs

Super happy with the service and help I received from the staff on duty. I found the apparel and equipment I was looking for and left a happy customer. Their prices are very affordable and are roughly half the price of the same new goods. Certainly, this was my experience. Thank you.

Warning, in my opinion, this shop is a tourist trap. I went there to look for reasonable bodyboarding gear for my brother and his family, and was absolutely shocked at the price and state of the second hand items they were selling. My brother ended up buying new boards for much more than the recommended retail price, and his son's board was creased straight out of the packaging. I'd recommend that people stay away from this company - especially tourists. I'd also recommend that those who are not being provided refunds make use of the Consumer Protection Act.

The shop assistant said we should offer a price for our junior wetsuit (good condition) as an exchange and then rejected every offer until we reached R200. We bought it initially for R1350. The surfboards are so over priced and in bad condition

They wanted to buy 2 two piece wetsuits from me, one being a SA divers one for R250 for both sets! So R125 per set... Looked around and they were selling the same one for R700 for only one piece of the wetsuit.2nd hand flippers for R400 that's the same price Brand new!!!Reply: I buy these fins for my swimming kids so I know what they should cost. They are not diving fins but rather swimming fins. ☺️

Warning! This has to be the worst surf shop in Cape Town. Overpriced, low quality goods and very rude staff. Definitely avoid.

Bought a few wetsuits when we arrived and was told they'd buy them back from us for 1/3 of the price (which in itself is a bad deal for us). Took them back and was told they'd only give us 20% for what we paid, which is a clear scam. Its a shame as the people that work there are really friendly, but the owner (who was on the end of the phone and dictating terms) clearly would rather rip people off than get people coming back to them. Avoid this place at all costs!

Pls note there are no refunds, returns or exchanges, even on new items, and they don't tell you this before you pay.As a beginner surfer I walked into the store and asked for a 4/3mm wetsuit, ended up walking out with a 3/2mm wetsuit.Make sure to double check before you pay, else it will be your problem.
