Silvermist Organic Wine Estate
We went to a Drumming experience and wine tasting. A thoroughly enjoyable evening and would recommend to anyone. Made us look at their accommodation and also their restaurant which we may well visit. Hope to bring friends here next February.

This was the best day ever!!The wine, the ambiance, the music everything was spot on. No matter what age, if u like wine or not - this is a MUST-see spot !!First Greg (owner) gave us an amazing and insightful wine tasting, followed by an immersive African drumming show that took my breath away. We couldn’t sit still and danced so much.Greg has the most amazing playlist. We were dancing, laughed, and finishing more wine.The staff are amazingly friendly and insightful - u can see that everyone is invested in this place. The only downside was that it had to end at one point.So last but not least, dear Greg, we hope you will read this because you were one of our highlights during our vacation. THANK YOU!!

We attended the DRUMBEAT event and it's a MUST. The DRUMBEAT event doesn't happen in winter but the wine farm is beautiful. We did a wine tasting, had a presentation with wine maker then a remarkable drumming event. PROUDLY SOUTH AFRICAN!

Wine tasting was excellent. The wine was delicious and the information shared was interesting and informative. Drum Strike was a blast as well, everyone did a great job and kept the audience engaged!

The rooms near reception are exceptional! Awesome setting and the room and bathroom finishing do it all justice. Some of us weren’t as fortunate and we were booked in further down in Owl unit. The room was spacious, clean and nicely furnished. The bathroom however felt tight and a bit dated.

Wine tasting (tea tasting for non-alcoholic) completely delicious and educational experience.After that we went to the Drumstruck show. Super entertaining, educational, fun and interactive. Time of my life.

Had an amazing time at the Drum Struck show. Such incredibly talented performers that are amazing in story telling, musical instruments, singers and hold such a stage presence.Greg was so hospitable with our group and it was the perfect place to spend our Thursday afternoon!

This was truly and experience....Had the privilege of doing a wine tasting with Gregory Louw who took us through his 23 year journey at the estate. It was amazing to hear how he has developed the amazing wines and achieved the organic certification.This was followed by an interactive drum session which was a first for me. Definitely an experience to remember.

We stayed in the Owl unit. It had breathtaking views from the peaceful balcony. The fireplace was bery welcome as was the huge bed with a view. I think we'll be back!
