Very neat and well looked after cottage with all the amenities we needed. Great value for money and right near the sea. Excellent sea food restaurant on the beach road too.

Dogstone Cottage is truly your home away from home! The cottage is beautifully decorated, incredibly comfortable and boasts all the comforts associated with home. The cleanliness and attention to detail grabbed my attention as I walked through the door. Recling on the spacious deck, absorbing the most incredible view of the ocean, is the best way to relax. The sociable braai area, with a fire flickering in the pit, made my evenings under the Hondeklip sky, truly special. The Aldridge family have done a superb job in creating a luxurious cottage with a relaxing ambience, ensuring that my needs for a relaxing holiday were met time and time again. Thank you for making my holiday so special! I will be back!!!

We spent seven days at Dogstone Cottage. What a great place. We were greeted by the manager when we arrived and she gave us all the details we needed. If we had any questions, she was always just next door.The rooms are spacious with a walk in closet and bathroom (shower only) the rooms have beautiful views of the ocean, all the room opened up to the deck and this were we spent most of our time. There was always a lovely breeze from the ocean.The living room has a flat screen TV and DSTV. Plenty of great books and a few DVDs and board games.The kitchen was well equipped! Fridge and small freezer, Nespresso machine, stove, kettle and all the utensils. Only thing missing was steak knifes but not really that big of a deal.There is a laundry room in a wendy house outside with a washer and even space to hang your clothes. The braai area is well laid out. The garage is huge!Never once did we feel unsafe and the locals were very friendly and helpful. Will most definitely be back.

What a delightful place to spend our holiday at! The amazing sea views and glorious sunsets from the deck of the cottage makes us want to come back again and again. Comfy beds, a fully equipped kitchen and spacious living area reminded us of home. Thank you Malcolm and Sharon Aldridge for ensuring that a beautiful clean cottage was ready and waiting for us on arrival. We will definitely be back!

Excellent self catering log house in Hondeklip Bay. It has 2 bedrooms with ensuite barhrooms , with kitchen and lounge and attached verandah. The house is well equipped and clean and has an ocean view.

Wat a beautifull cottage this is. It is very trendy and about 100 meters from the see. It is very windy that is very cold but very nice. The service is great and you have free WiFi. It is very neat and clean, and very well taken care of. It is a very enjoyable stay. When you are traveling in this area this is the place to stay. A very enjoyable visit. Enjoy your stay
