We used FY Electrical cc t/a York's Electrical as they were subcontracted by our builder.I would avoid this electrical company as some basic electrical 101 concepts were omitted when undertaking work at our property, namely:1. Fitting a new distribution board which is too small for the property. This board is adequate for a small townhouse (or a hotel room), not a large residential house. We had informed Yorke of future plans to install solar panels, now a new distribution board will be required if this is done with further unnecessary costs.2. Due to a breakdown with the builder, York's Electrical shown unprofessional to complete the job leaving us to find an alternative electrician to complete several electrical items.3. Our new electricians found many items completed by York's Electrical which were not done to code and were concerning and had to be rectified with further costs to us. (He informed us that as he knew the owner he would phone him to let him know as he should know his staff are doing things incorrectly.)4. It was found that it was likely that we would have issues with plugs tripping in the kitchen if too many appliances were used at the same time. A major headache was avoided by a more experienced electrician.
