Bergens Fourways Appliance Repairs and Spares

The WORST experience ever. Started with a tumble dryer repair (which we ended up replacing 3 months later as the 'repair' didn't fix the issue), Then tried to get help replacing a seal for our oven. 6 months later and 3 inspections and we still don't have one. Onsite staff rude and one tried to solicit a bribe for checking the oven yet again. Was told that they don't have a manager, just a supervisor and that they don't do anything. It's the blind leading the blind there. Stay away.

Needed a spare part for my fridge, used the online chat feature and got excellent service from Mark as well as top prices coming in 30% lower than a competitor.

From my first interaction with Bergens Fourways in 2013/4, until just last week, I have received nothing but the best. Since first interaction right upon the final delivery there has been constant friendly communication, professionalism and great consideration. I would recommend them to everyone. Thanks bergens I had my washing machine repaired & from my first online enquiry I received excellent response. I am very happy with the service I received & will surely recommend them to anyone. The staff are friendly & professional even the guys that came to collect & drop off my appliance are so friendly. Not a very pleasant experience for a numbers of reasons. if you don't follow up they completely forget about you. The fridge could spends week's there and they would not look at it. Secondly it broke down a second time with an intermittent fault . This happened to another 7 - 8 Samsung fridges from other customers. Goes back to the workshop and then it's working, all they can say they don't know why this is happening but never do any testing on the components to check why it is an intermittent fault. Lastly I was told 3 months warranty on parts then only to be told when tacking it back there is no warranty on parts, which is clearly stated on the back of the invoice. Be warned.

Absolutely shocking.We decided to call the Fourways branch after being referred to them by the Randburg branch. We had used Bergen's before (branch in Petervale closed) and trusted their services, so we were eager for their assistance in repairing our oven's broken thermostat. I spoke to a lady over the phone, reassured her that the thermostat was causing problems, and agreed to have an assessment on Saturday morning.Technicians came on Friday, immediately opened up our oven so as to secure a ridiculous call out fee, and promptly insisted we wait two days (not including Sunday) for them to find a replacement and repair the oven (they could tell me how long it would take to fix, but I'd have to wait for the office to send me a quote. Ridiculous). Apparently, they don't carry any spare parts at their dedicated in-house workshop because we might not be able to use them" even though the company had already been told that my Defy's thermostat was an issue; and spare parts are sold during trading hours on a daily basis. I was not informed that this would be the case over the phone. They then told me that they don't work weekends

I sent my fridge to them, it was freezing on the top part, if I put the thermostat on low or medium then it doesn't cool. So it was running on high all the time causing the top part to freeze. I paid R1500 but the issue was still there, they claim they replaced a part. Only they know if they did anything at all.

Excellent service! The machine was picked up, repaired and delivered on time. The team went above and beyond answering all my questions, and returned the washing machine in excellent condition. Great job and keep it up.
