If they are the last company in the world, rather buy a tent. Nice and shiny on the outside, rubbish on the inside. They use the cheapest sub-contractors they can find and charge the most they can. My house has now got yet another water issue.

Brick N Broad has got an ability to make things look nice when you move in, but after inspecting the workmanship in a few months and seeing it on various other houses, I will never use them again. I am still struggling as I have to fix my roof to a proper standard that will cost me +- R40 000.00. They do not even come back to me and ignore my emails. They use the cheapest subcontractors that they can find. If I could I would have gave them 0 stars

Dealing with Brick n Board has been by far the worst experience I have had to deal with as a new prospective homeowner. Everything has been late by months, communication is non-exsistent, staff do not replies to emails or calls. We are not informed of any changes or given the courtesy of being told our property was under development. Promised occupation in December 6 months later still no idea when we will be granted occupation.Stay far away if value your peace of mind and sanity.

Really bad experience with the quality of work and gas not meeting the requirements yet they signed it off and issued a certificate. We also found sigarette buds and old cloths under our kitchen cupboards.

Please don’t use them. Terrible workmanship and no quality assurance. Even worse customer service.

Brick a Board is a construction company which has its business in breaking new ground in many new developments in and around Cape Town. I visited their Offices today in Brackengate and the staff very friendly and accommodating when you discuss your concerns with them as a developer whose to build your house from fresh ground.

Very excited about all the building plans, was offered a lovely cappuccino to enjoy!

Awful construction company, disgraceful workmanship, sizes of rooms wrong, walls not straight, misfit doors, leaks, damp, incomplete snags. Their completely inability to fix problems they themselves created due to poor quality building is astonishing. Their website says High Quality Construction" which in regard to my house is a blatent lie."

*Edit: the social media manager reached out to me via this review, I send them a letter a week ago. And I have not even received an acknowledge the receipt of the email yet. So, we can conclude that Brick 'n Board have a good social media manager.I have also since learnt that the 11 houses in my estate, who had to replace their garden gates, because it was of the lowest quality and not even primed before painting were all build by: DRUMROLL please... Brick 'n Board!!!!Brick and Board built our house in 2019, and we were really satisfied with the built initially.Turns out, it was all smoke and mirrors.Three years along the line everything is falling apart. The roof was sealed with silicone and the walls that is not visible from the ground were not plastered, let alone sealed. So, not only is the roof leaking, the water is seeping into the walls.The stove top was sealed with low quality silicone, the grouting between the tiles are coming out. All the cronices are also all cracked. We are slowly but surely having to rebuilt the whole house. As the lowest quality products were used absolutely everywhere - and we most definitely did not pay for low quality products.So, if you want to build a house that last 3 years, Brick and Built are your guys, but for anything longer than that, rather stay clear of this company.
